Twenty-three-year-old Clinton Titre, the owner and driver of a vehicle involved in a tragic accident early Wednesday morning, is still nursing multiple injuries at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
Titre was driving a Toyota Celica GT-Four car in a southerly direction on Goodwill road in the wee hours of Wednesday morning when it crashed into a utility pole, killing 26-year-old Neil Karam who was a passenger in the vehicle.
According to Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Claude Weekes, Titre is conscious and speaking.
The police inspector informed Dominica News Online that Titre is nursing multiple bodily injuries, including a serious laceration to his head, at the Alford Ward of the Princess Margaret Hospital. Weekes added that the wound on Titre’s head appeared to have been stitched.
DNO,did you by chance made a follow up on the lady who had the accident on January gone? pls do a follow up ,I called a friend everyday to go and check on her,my family and I praying for her in st.Maarten, and why did she was not flown out to martinque? they have one of the best trauma center? my friend said that she on a machine, cant move only her eyes, if she still lives, she will be a quadricpledic,a vegetable,
and tell why the driver is still walking free?pls she need help,as soon as possible,
I have not heard anything more on this inccident what went wrong what was the cause what will be the end result? A young man life was lost and yet no-one takes the responsibility?
u young men just don’t think .in the frist place why u had to be driving so fast ? i really don’t wish to be in ur shoes because i know how bad u are feeling for ur friend alas.
The Lord giveth and he taketh life. God grant the families strength in this time of grief. Clinton hold on and call on God and let him be your source of comfort. You have made it and he has you there for a purpose, talking from my experience as you know.
i had a cousin who disobeyed his father and went out speeding …. and that was it. he was gone!… no second chance… and the other is alive. obedience is always better than sacrifice and prevention is always better than cure!
think about that. use your heads youths. thats what God gave it to you for. not to be smashed about like an overiped tomato. open your eyes and see what is happening. dont you dare say it wont happen to you. the cycle continues unless a stop is put to i!
If the tables were turned and he was the one who had passed many of you would be saying how Clint was a nice guy and RIP etc. He may have been driving but who are we to cast judgment. God is the only judge. I knew none of them closely so I am speaking objectively. He needs support at this time. Support for a recovery and a chance to do well with the life that he has been spared. I am certain that he feels guilt. It doesn’t make the situation any better by saying things like it’s unfair that he lived and is sitting in the hospital while Neil is dead. C’mon the Lord giveth and taketh!
God bless him and his family and the family of Neil who are all hurting in one way or another.
its not fair that he gets to sit in the hospital wihie neil is dead…
Guidance and Blessings to a speedy recovery Clinton, I cant imagine how terrible you must be feeling, but I know that is nto easy. Accidents happen and its terrible when we loose someone to it’s grip. Pray, and the Lord will see you through. Be careful Youte!
lets try to safe gaurd our selves and the lives of others in our care. nothing will happen if we just drive within the said limit regardless if the oad is clear or not. young man your life was spared make the best of it. alll the best to you and speedy recovery

hold on tight and free your mind dont blame his death on yourself……………PEACE ROCK
WE ALL WILL MISS U NIEL……………………………
A car is a death trap, do not think that it will protect you if you crash. Drive carefully, wear seatbelts, do not drink and drive, and there is no need to speed.
is it true that the other one died too?
we as youngsters need to realize that when we drive fast like lightning then we crash like thunder and we all hate thunder so lets just slow down a bit my brothers. we hadly ever hear wemen in those types of accident as the driver so young men slow down. the snail gets to his destination even if the horse gets there before him.
CONDOLENCES TO ALL BEREIVED, IT IS A SAD SITUATION AND A BIG ONE TO BUT GOD IS BIGGER THAN ALL, MANY ARE THE PLANS IN THE MAN’S HEART BUT IS THE LORD PURPOSE THAT PREVAILS, MY SON AT THE HOSPITAL I PRAY FOR PEACE OF MIND, TO THE FAMILY OF THE DECEASED I PRAY FOR GOD DIVINE INTERVENTION, BE STRONG.
my cympathy goese out to the karam family god is always in control so keep the faith
and to the young man in the hospital you have lost your friend and this is a very sad time for you but always keep god in mind be strong and hold on your friend is gone but never shall u forget him may god bless you …..
words of wisdom from a biblical point of view: God never meant for children to die before parents every man has a life span of three-score and ten years; for those who cannot calculate it’s seventy years, thus with good and godly living and thinking we can be like “MA PAMPO” and the other centenarians. we as young people need to take into prospective the fact that with age comes reason and the admonision and advice of our elders we must take heed. Iet me extend condolences to the Karam Family and the friends of neil, we know the code as :”CRY NO MORE” thus we must shed tears as we have lost a friend and brother let this be a lesson to all, we are GENERATION NEXT and the future we must stay alive to develope, AND MAKE BETTER AND SAFE FOR OUR CHILDREN.
Get well Soon Baby…wanna meet u at the levis store when ii come dwn….R.I.P NEILO
My sympathy and prayers go out to Neil’s family. He was a courteous, helpful and respectful young man. While I feel for the driver, …… while recuperating in the hospital. ….parents and family what really happened that night, before Neil’s final moments.
I also hope this is a lesson for … drivers who drive recklessly. We know there are always risks while driving, but this is not in that category.
R.I.P Neil. Gone too soon.
My deepest sympathy to the Karam family. This is a tragic way to lose a loved one and at such a tender age.

Condolences are in order to all the grieving family members and friends of the departed and of the injured. At this time of goodwill, we hope that next year will be a year of healing and consciousness across the length and breadth of our nation. Lets try to be sober-minded in all our doings.
Bishop Malzaire, in his New Year’s wish for Dominica, call for talk of peace to be matched by work. In concert, we call on ALL the adults in our land to take a stand. Be a mentor to the young people who, by virtue of our coming before them, we are supposed to lead and chaperone in the way they should go.
HEY CLINTY HOLD TIGHT OK CAUSE WHEN I COME FOR THEM CURVY JEANS I NEED YOUR YOUNG EYES TO TELL ME HOW THEY LOOK SORRY WE HAD TO LOOSE ONE YOUNG MAN BUT GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS IF YOU NEED TO CRY THEN DO SO
rest in peace my brother

I feel for bedrock cuz …. its like he feels some sort of responsiblity for Neils death, being the driver and all!!!!!! It’s sad that this had to happen to these two young men…… i dealt better with Neil than Clinton…. but my prayers are still with him and his family……..
I saw Neil the day of his passing and as always, he was driving his Integra….. we aile up and ting but that was it as he was on his mission and i was on mine………
