Four people were injured in an accident under the Canefield cliff moments ago
Reports are that a pickup truck was traveling in a northerly direction when it ran into the cliff, flipped over and hit the western side of the cliff.

I would really appreciate it if DNO would stop posting comments that are in no way related to the news article. This whole thing between Family Guy, Shatta and Grand Bay people has nothing to do with the above story. Sometimes these are just colleagues/friends sitting next to each other in the office writing CRAP on DNO, y dont they use their facebook page for that?

why im i not surprised ?? the thing is people contiune to be reckless on the road. try this, stand on the road side at any one time and look at the amount of craziness you see even while communting , some da drivers are crazy on the road, it is time they make good examples of them by taking away their licence

Pray for Dominica! We need prayers and more prayers! Too much is happening there! Everyday is sad news! OH MY
so why is that during any incident that requires an investigation there’s always a crowd? most of the times the large crowd creats more trauma on the victims and this is bad. i believe that as soon as the professionals arrive at the scene the area should be made clear of undesireables, but we dont see that in dominica. everyone wants to take photos on their blackberry to circulate not having any regard for the victims privacy. so many things are so odd here and no one in authority pays any regard.
I agree with the idea of clearing the onlookers when emergency personnel and law enforecement arrive.But i know for a fact that the police are the ones leaking the pictures to their friends in foreign,their girlfriends and wives at home and sometimes to the media.

another traffic accident!!! what goin on na with these drivers nowadays.they not payin Attention to wats happenin round ya or wat?all dem tings can be avoided if ppl jus learn to take it e z!driver a bit slower on these roads.dat canefield road under cliff in a big mess now,now not da time to speed there,1 will surely tend to lose control there man.im still seeing bus drivers speeding with ppl on board after all dats happening!da other day 2 buses overtaking me coming from souf/scotts head area,around a blind corner full with passengers!i wasnt even drivin slow,i had average speed for da type of road but they running competition but its at the cost of innocent ppl lives.come on now ppl,stop taking life for granted!!!!

The laws need to be upgraded: speed limits enforced, like heavy fines that could bankrupt you,seizing cars etc, taking away lics , jail time spanking/flogging in public. etc that’s the only way to teach these AHs.Drink and drive when caught $10,000.00n or 3 yrs jail first offense. second $30k
5 yrs in jail 3rd offense we lose ur key.Then and only then will sense kick in.

I am afraid to check DNO now it is just one sad story after another, whether it is natural or man-made disaster in Dominica. I wish every one involved in the accident a speedy recovery both emotionally and physically.
