DNO is not Lando it’s Languedoc as a news outlet you need to be accurate about these things, this is very sloppy journalism smh.

ADMIN: This is the information given to us by the police. We publish whatever is given to us by the authorities. If there is an error, simply call us or the police to have it rectified. We have called the police and the name was corrected.

The police wrote as they speak lol. Languedoc pronounced LANGUE-DOH sounds like Lando in Dominican speech. The name originated from a small town in France.

    • November 7, 2016

Don’t tell me DNO that the body was found partly decomposed by the police and a doctor pronounce him dead..Don’t you find the script is quite odd or very badly written? It is not a problem referring to the name but the whole type of persuasive technique that was used in your writing makes your professionalism questionable.Sorry but it is a fact.

Where are forensic specialists in Dominica? It looks like there are so many on DNO, that I’m yet to believe which one has the right answer. RIP Mr.

So unfortunate it had to result to that, my sympathies to the family. But this is a lesson for us. If you are feeling so bad please go to the nearest health district, please don’t go home. Very disciplined young man.

hahaha.. you must be joking.. havent you read the news lately.. you might as well stay at your home and die peacefully.. the health districts will kill you sooner.. 10 hours waiting to be seen only to be given 2 doses of paracetamol… we are not equipped for nothing

It appears he knew what was the problem with him. Did he fail to go to the doctor?
You should have advised him to call emergency ambulance. He could have been helped.
When someone say they will not make it. Say a prayer for mercy, forgiveness and repentance with the person. An Our Father would do.

that would surely not have helped him… dominica hospital kills… not save lives…

There was something going on and he left it unchecked. People, young and old, need to visit their doctor when they do not ‘feel right’. It is sad the some people die because they did not pay attention when their bodies speak to them. He is gone but for those of us who remain, please go to your doctor. It may save a life.

A police officer visiting the scene could verify whether the body had any marks of violence, by this it could be establish whether foul play is suspected.
DNO! I think that you all could get some more information from the police in order to assist the reading public.

I smell something fishy about this , a coach ? he should be healthy , serious investigation must be done, to many of those incidents happening on this island paradise we need some serious investigative train officers here, to many cases are being swept under the rug here they just never heard of again as if it disappeared into a black hole, what happen to the four police who allegedly kill this poor man in there custody? .

I wonder if he had an illness or drank something which affected his organs? The police should really inform nationals about these incidents, the cause and the results of the autopsy. They are too tight-lipped. This is not good for and helpful to nationals. The investigating police need to change their format.

Pray for Dominica and its citizenry      . Too much unexplained co-incidences and some of us are still in denial. Wake up Dcans, please awake from your slumber. We seems to be paying dearly for the sins of evil doers among us.

    Always Assertive!

    • Just Passing Through
      November 6, 2016

Shameless who are the evil doers among us you are alluding too? Do you know them? If you do and are not reporting them to the authorities, what does that say?

Before we decide a case online, why not wait for the the Police investigation to complete. DNO did not say how the person died, did they? I should go back and reread the article just in case. I did not remember reading of any foul play. I went back and read the article, nothing about evil or foul play.

People drop dead every day and that does not mean evil, it could easily mean their number was up. We are not on earth to live forever, anyone of us can die any second, minute, or hour of any day. In fact if we check around the world we will find every second someone, somewhere dies. We have no idea if the man had an existing illness or died from a sudden heart attack.

May his soul rest in peace. May the family find strength to deal with this loss.

Just hear the idiotic conversation they have here “a coach he should be healthy” Imgine the height of ignorance of our people. Healthy people drop dead all the time for many reasons. How does being a coach make him healthy? Do you know his diet? his routine? his medical records? Jesus these people need to read a book not be online.

I hope you are also praying. No one is exempt nor will be exonerated from praying for Dominica and nationals. We do not wait when something occurs. It is constantly that God will help the nation and nationals including ourselves.
