Translation: An extension of Ross. Ross already expanding. That will teach our boys they need to get out of the mentality of Toucary/Tatan and be business-like and proactive. Harsh lesson indeed.

When Dominica gets an international airport then you will see development. Then International companies would want to set up there, until then, let Labor party and other countries convince you that you don’t need an international airport.
I was in Barbados a few weeks ago and I saw 10 large Jet liners sitting on the tarmac, not to mention the many Liats. Air Canada 1, British airways 2, Tomas Cook 2, Jet Blue 1, Virgin Atlantic 2, I cant remember the others.
    Stay behind still.

Mottley said she has already begun talks with Chamberlain University .
”discussions will soon be wrapped up”
WEh , weh , weh , there can never ever be any clarity on what went down with Ross.
see how everything out there, even while talks are going on , negotiations under way .
What was so different with Ross, what is the secret ?
God alone, and he have to come down to convince me, not stay up there and shout you know , that a dirty wasn’t done on Dominica. who got underhand money , or if is services , but Dominica was SHAFTED good and proper , and like everything else ,some Dominicans, make some noise, but then they become like sheep that get wet in a heavy shower of rain .
No other country would have lost Ross to their economy and for heads not to roll,
and i mean literally roll. See what happening in France and for what .
All Ministers in Da still have both hands in de Millions trough.
I feeling pain ein . Some think they will be able to buy their way through…

Dominica is last kakarat in the caribbean and bigger than most of the small islands. Shame shame shame. The government is not creating growth. Just a set of talk talk talk. Remove the parrot from the flag and replace with an eagle. There should be no sewo without development. The sewo should be because we are cutting the ribbon for a new hospital, airport, health center, college etc. Nothing happening but we always celebrating hahaha. Trust me, it’s a sad situation. I cruise all over the islands and Dominica cruise port cannot see where Haiti cruise port passing. Imagine, I used to be the first person to say I’m from the nature island, now, I stay in the back and hesitate to speak. What can I tell a St. Lucian, Bajan, Antiguan etc. about Dominica. I just say it’s beautiful and thats it. Dominicans, wake up and live!!!

So what are WE doing to help Dominica to be first “kakarat”. Barbados has had the reputation of being the most economic developed country by the Financial Times. Because these progressive PEOPLE have been developing their country. Government have been doing, but the PEOPLE have been doing more.
The times when we have been” first kakarat” in limes, bananas, grapefruit, coffee, coconut, vanilla, rum, etc , it was the people. Our traders (hucksters) were trading from Guadeloupe tp Monserat . Our two shipping companies were exporting to USA and UK
Dominicans were building hotels and Guest Houses (a few), and homes.
But instead of plugging in and feeding into government policies , we sit, talk, criticize, blame, demonstrate and incite violence. We cant take these to the bank .
What is Barbados tract record on demonstrations and inciting violence ?
So if we want progress WE HAVE TO BE POSITIVELY PROGRESSIVE, we have no excuse.

John are you serious ? Do you even live in DA? People have produce and cant find market, people have no jobs, businesses are closing down and you blaming Dominican? When I last check the Government is responsible for opening avenues for economic growth,

Good enough for Barbados but not good enough for DA. Dominica’s PM rather sells passports then improving the economy as a whole. He prefers the citizens to rely on him and the government. Furthermore, selling passports is much more profitable to him than actually doing the job we are paying him to do.

Lets ask PM Mottley if she wants a colony . Mottley speaks the global language of business while we can’t articulate what it is we want on a basic level. International businesses look for key words not innuendos and hyperbole . Dimensions of business 101: (a) Economic (b) Social (c) Technological (d) Political (e) Legal.

Even if Jesus was negotiating for Dominica in the Ross matter he would have hired Mia Mottley as his chief negotiator.

What are you saying? Why didn’t you use Trump or Putin in your final remarks?
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I understand your point through your course but who is greater than Jesus? This is not a joke. Watch your tongue!
With it we are justified and with that same tongue we are condemned! Jesus is negotiating for our foolishness before the father in Heaven so that we may have a chance and no one else can do what He is presently doing! Are you saying that Mia is stronger than Jesus?
      Be careful!

What exactly are you trying to say? All of this jesus talk is doing NOTHING for Dominica. The more we call on jesus, the worse we become. For centuries we have been fanatics of this blue-eyed blonde-haired character yet we are losing the battle. Religion has us CONFUSED. We are Catholics, Christians (Churh of god in christ, seventh day adventists, christian union mission, baptists, etc.,) Muslims, Jews and the lists go and we can’t get along. We need to take off the blinders of religion to find ourselves again. That’s exactly what has us separated and can’t accept each other as human beings first instead of belonging to all these different affiliations. The pastors and evangelists are reaping us of our money yet we continue to give to them and believing that we are doing so for god. They turn around, buy mansions, expensive cars, preach prosperity while we are struggling to make ends meet. While they live in their mansions on earth, we are waiting to do so in heaven.

The point is the Barbados PM is result oriented and clearly very intelligent and articulate. There is no shame in loosing out to Mottley in regards to Ross.It starts with patriotism and one belief in his country’s ability to succeed and prosper.

Only blood sweat and tears build economies not SIWO. you siwoing night and day and expect growth & development. We suffer from a ( delusion of grandeur is the fixed, false belief that one possesses superior qualities such as genius, fame, omnipotence, or wealth)

They’re using Ross as a “test run”. Imagine that. A great loss for us that equated to something like 15% of our GDP is a “test run” for another country.

What’s not mentioned in the article is that Adtalem Global Education Inc
      which owns Ross University
      ALSO, owns Chamberlain University.

      It’s not a new institution
it’s a continuing dialogue with the same officials
      hence, the term “test run”

Now you have clarified something here.
Now I would like to ask the question, why could Dominica not keep Ross, and add Chamberlain University to it.
Barbados is trying to do it, why Dominica could not do it?
The two having the same parent company does not make a difference if Dominica does not have at least one.

U expect THE U.S to invest anything in Dominica. .. I mean are dominicans fools… u have a kind of coshorny for that passes for Gov destroying the country into pieces and people continue to vote these Wana be dictators into office. .. this is disgusting. .. that’s the best Dominicans can do man? Aftr all dump that gov out of office man … what all you waiting for??? These guys are a waste of time… just saving darn money on the people back and have they familly getting big time on people dam taX money…

But the U.S don’t really invest anything meaningful in Dca, as we are not strategically important, a token $6 mil or so from time-to-time of humanitarian aid compared to real investment from the others. Let’s be real, your boys would have to follow suit or we doomed.

Ms Mottley has become the darlin of the IMF together with Mr Holdness of Jamaica . Austerity measures have been tested as planed , now, some crumbs will fall from the table somewhat. At the same time , news coming in is saying Dominica is expecting a 9.5 GDP growth for 2019 , the highest of all Caribbean states , A Paradox if there is one , seeing all the negatives that continues to be printed and spoken about
