Bishop provides guidelines for Catholics in light of Coronavirus outbreak

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in light of the worldwide outbreak of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) following are the guidelines to be observed throughout the Diocese of Roseau with immediate effect, until further notice:

  1. Holy Communion is to be given only on the hand. There will be no distribution of the Precious Blood.
  2. No handshake at the Sign of Peace (make a graceful bow instead).
  3. No holy water will be provided in the holy water fonts.
  4. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must wash their hands with soap and water before and after the distribution of Holy Communion.
  5. Cough or sneeze into a flexed elbow or tissue, then throw tissue into a closed bin
  6. Seek medical assistance and stay isolated if you exhibit flu-like symptoms

As we keep strict observance of these guidelines, we continue to pray that the good Lord protect our Diocese and our region against the spread of the virus, conscious that the Lord is our help and our shield; we continue to put our trust in Him. (Ps 28:7)

As a born Catholic and Christian in my own opinion the church should stop giving the Holy communion at least for the time being most of the times it’s old people that takes that so-called communion they’re the ones most likely to die from the Covid-19 Virus, :By taking that thing will not save you what you want is good hygiene follow the instructions from the medical information system and hope all will be OK!

“We continue to pray that the “good Lord” protect — ”

The “good Lord” is always delighted to hear us speak His name through His Christ Jesus, His Son in the flesh.

In the name of Jesus, our petition is sure to be heard and our call will be answered. There are all sorts of so-called “good Lords”, everywhere, the Good Lord of Heaven and Earth must be fully addressed by His name–His name is Jesus!

So, I pray that this demonic sickness, called the “Corona Virus”, will evade the shores of our Dominica. And that Dominicans will remain steadfast in their faith, that there is no power above the Power of our Lord God, in Jesus Christ.

Let us rebuke this demon of sickness, commanding it to get behind our backs in the name of Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, of mercy and compassion, please strengthen the faith of Your healing in those who have been affected. Let the words: “By His stripes, we are healed” be the echo of their mind in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Elisabeth, are serious that prayer is as good as a vaccine to cure this virus. Well lady I am sorry but you are totally mistaken unless of course you believe in miracles. Do you? Even the bishop is more realist than you and has banned the use of holy water.

Toto, there is a troubled thing about you and many Dominicans like you, it is that you all’s “carnality” –being an “enemy” of the “Living God”– is a very, very, serious Life issue, which is worse than the coronavirus, because, for most of you, that illness cannot be corrected.

That issue means your fate in Life is sealed in the frame of eternal darkness and misery, the same is for your counterparts

If you think that prayer is not a vaccine to cure the Coronavirus, why do you think that there is anything the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health have the magic wand to snap that virus away? They are just as human as you and me.

It is the mentality of “ungodliness” in people like you, which has Dominica struggling for profound economical and social growth, and unless you all can come to terms with that flaw nothing good can happen for us.

Unfortunately, most of the time, the innocent must suffer the judgment of the guilty.

In simple language, the mythological god offers no protection.

No, see it’s even worse than that. The virus was created by the mythological god to begin with. It’s part of the revelations prophecies, plagues, diseases, wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes etc. End times are upon us.
