I tip my hat to those responsible for setting up this wellness retreat. In the wake of Tropical Storm Erika, I’m a bit concerned about the location based on what I see in the photo. I would be seriously concerned about landslides.
But then, again, Dominica is naturally hilly almost everywhere. That’s just how our blessed island is. May God keep CarRod’s safe.

    “Rodney’s Wellness Retreat,”

That is laughable, the building in the picture looks like something out of the Jettsons comic book, the windows on that house looks like something out of the fourteenth century.

If I was looking for a wellness facility, and that was the only one on the planet, I might prefer to check myself into a mental asylum where there are modern windows, which brings natural light into the building. That looks like a place where people are kept in solitary confinement! Who in their right mind would leave any part of the modern world to go seek wellness in a place like that?

The fruits are not appealing enough, the same fruits are found all over the world!

      Francisco
You really are a vile, nasty, ignorant, semi-illiterate hater of all propel.

You seem to have serious and urgent problems.

I actually pity you my brother. I wonder what made you so bitter and sad?

I see your point. Must be very dark inside this house. I guess the owner had security in mind as well. Don’t forget, Dominica has changed drastically – You have to be bold and determined to start any business like this in DA. The Government is not hard on criminals; so people are taking drastic measures to safeguard themselves and their property. I wish the owner (s) much luck and success. Nice place.

That’s a shame, we are asking for investment in the country to create jobs and reading your comment is belittling. you can do better than that.

Well, well, well, what can I say about my fellow Dominicans and encouragement to our brothers and sisters who try to do something for themselves as well as for our beloved island.

    • December 26, 2015

my people like to cry down others that try to do something good this is a great facility why should you complain tell me what advice you have that’s better and what are you doing for your country instead of hiding behind a fake name and brining down tour country come on we move one step at a time I love that project its small but give it time and hope for the best.

You obviously have a serious problem and maybe be right, to prefer to want to check into a mental institution. It also appears to one reading that you do not know anything about the Rodney’s Wellness Retreat or Soufriere or even Dominica. Take time out to educate yourself before putting your fingers into gear (Not your brain because this itself appear to need a whole lot of refinement) And if other customers are satisfied then criticism from you an uniform wannabe traveller is always welcome and can be constructive in a positive way. BTW, I am not affiliated to the company just a pass guest.

In 2015, it would serve many private establishments to have a website to make it easier for booking.
