Tao Restaurant, Lounge Bar & Art Gallery on Victoria Street in Roseau treated its customers and friends to an open house in recognition of its first anniversary on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 7pm until the wee hours of Sunday morning. Patrons were treated to a night of food, drink and the soothing jazzy renditions of Michele Henderson and her band.
Tao is known for its mix of Latin, Japanese, Peruvian and Italian cuisine skillfully prepared by its Peruvian Chef Rosa. The restaurant is housed in a historic building, its wooden structure and balcony lends itself perfectly to the restaurant’s charming characteristic.
Ms. Nadezkda Marquez owner of Tao Restaurant, Lounge Bar & Art Gallery. informs that the reception from the Dominican public has been exceptional since the opening of the facility in 2012, she therefore felt the need to express her appreciation and gratitude to all patrons on Tao’s first anniversary.
It was a night of fun, laughter, finger-licking cuisine, booze and great musical performances in a cozy environment that guests will always remember. This event will no doubt bring more hungry tummies to the doors of Tao, now that it has established itself as a very friendly place to hang out, eat and drink and be entertained, a true Entertainment Hot Spot on Dominica.
