One of Dominica’s telecommunication giants, Digicel, has launched its “Together we make Christmas better” promotion with much enthusiasm and Christmas cheer last Friday, despite gloomy weather.

This year customers can get a chance to win over $50,000 in cash and prizes, Digicel’s Sales and Marketing Manager Nathalie Walsh said.

The launch took place at the Digicel store on Great George Street.

According to Walsh, the core of this Christmas promotion is to bring people together with the use of the latest technology devices available at Digicel.

“Our Christmas giveaway with up to $50,000 in cash and prizes will see many customers walking away with prizes in our weekly draws climaxing with a grand draw in January when one lucky customer will enter the Digicel cash vault for a chance to grab up to $20,000 cash,” she said.

Customers will also be able to participate in their weekly draws, which will see customers win shopping vouchers, smart phones including a DL 750, DL 800, DL 900, the Samsung Galaxy mini and the Samsung Galaxy S5 handsets, tablets.

Additionally there are cash prizes of a $1,000 every week pluse free credit, free data service and ham and turkey vouchers.

To get a chance to win is simple Walsh noted.

“It is very easy and simple to participate in our $50,000 give away promotion. You simply top up $15 or more, pay your postpaid bill in full and on time before December 29th, sign up for a data plan, purchase any smart phone,” she said.

In keeping with the season’s goodwill, Walsh urged customers to reach out to the less fortunate ones around them.

“Likewise we at Digicel promise to be out in the communities to uplift the lives of the less fortunate kids, elderly, sick and families to make Christmas a better one for them,” she said.
