BUSINESS BYTE: Flow pumps up the volume with prepaid Deezer Music App

LIME_logoMusic lovers across the Caribbean will enjoy greater access to the popular Deezer music streaming app, as LIME extends the music app’s premium service to include prepaid account holders. Previously, Deezer Premium was only available to postpaid customers, but now it has been extended to prepaid customers, who can access the service via their mobile credit.

Since C&W Communications signed this exclusive partnership with Deezer, the leading global on-demand music streaming service, customers in all markets across the region (including The Bahamas and Panama), have been able to access over 35 million songs from the largest digital music library in Latin America and the Caribbean, free of cost.

After downloading the app, customers can opt to sign up for Deezer’s Premium version, which delivers music free of advertising, offline availability, unlimited streaming and the convenience to enjoy music in the car, on radio or TV.

Commenting on the latest move by the company to expand the reach of the Deezer app to include its prepaid mobile services, James McElvanna, VP Product Development, C&W Consumer Group said, “As we transform our company into the most customer-centric telecoms business in the region, our goal is to continually seek out and align ourselves with partnerships that will ultimately delight our customers. With Deezer, customers can listen to the music of their choice at their leisure, from personalised recommendations selected by Deezer Editors or by smart algorithmic selections, Deezer works across all devices on and offline, with no listening limits. The music selections are customised and delivered over C&W’s region-wide advanced mobile data and fibre networks.
