While LIME was giving some Xtra Large value to customers with the launch of XL Value on Friday, the residents of the Operation Youth Quake received some Xtra-Large love from the company.
As part of the introduction of this new value proposition to customers, LIME staff made an early trip to the popular ‘Matt in the Morning’ talk- show on Q-95 to begin a day of customer education on XL Value. Head of Retail – Raymond Cole and Corporate Communications Manager – Ferdina Frampton excited listeners with details on the XL Value offer. “Every customer who talks for 5 minutes from their prepaid mobile phone to any LIME mobile will instantly get 25 more minutes on that call free; that’s approximately 10 cents per minute! Absolutely no activation is required with XL.”
LIME XL Value is about bringing all the great savings LIME already deliver to its customers and reminds all LIME customers that when it comes to talk they are getting the best rates, the best packages and the most out of every dollar they spend. LIME XL Value makes it easier for customers to afford the mobile services they have come to depend on every day.
In an effort to give the impact of the XL Value offer, the LIME team brought a gift of an Xtra Large 6ft subway to the morning show. However the host, Matt Peltier would not have the pleasure of enjoying the delicious sub, but rather he had to nominate a needy institution of his choice to which the giant sub would be donated. He decided on the Operation Youth Quake located at Savanne Park. The LIME team wrapped up their stop at the Q-95 studio and headed straight to the Operation Youth Quake to deliver the 6ft sub.
LIME team arrived at the Operation Youth Quake and was welcomed by heavy rains and a grateful group of staff and young residents of the institution. They had not been listening to the radio at the time and were very surprised to see the LIME team and the huge sub. Since it was a long weekend and some of the children were going to be sent home to be with family and loved ones, there were no pots bubbling on the stoves and so the sub was quite welcomed for lunch that day.
The Operation Youth Quake is an institution which cares for and provides rehabilitation and educational developing opportunities for children and young adults who are homeless, have suffered abuses of all types, orphaned or who are young offenders.
The excitement of the XL Value launch continued throughout the day with patrons and customers treated to a slice of an Xtra-Large cake and some X-tra specials on handsets.
