Christmas comes early to Digicel Dominica customers with 50k in cash and prizes

Digicel, Dominica’s Bigger, Better Network today unveiled the details of ‘Once Upon a Christmas Time…’ – its biggest Christmas promotion ever – in which customers get the chance to win cash and prizes totalling EC$50,000.

To qualify, Digicel prepaid customers simply have to top up with EC$20 or more, purchase a handset or upgrade their existing handset. Postpaid customers can enter by paying their bill in full and on time or by purchasing a handset with a BlackBerry or Data Plan. Customers topping up can also increase their chances of winning in the weekly draws by texting the word ‘WIN’ to 2434.

Each week from now until January 31st, a lucky Digicel customer will walk away with exciting Christmas gifts such as shopping vouchers, handsets and top up, bottles of wine, hams, turkeys and cash prizes as part of the promotion. Winners of the weekly draws will be announced every Friday on the radio stations during an outside broadcast which forms part of Digicel’s weekend Christmas store activities.

The promotion will culminate in February when 5 lucky customers will be chosen at random for the grand draw. The five random finalists will be allowed to enter the cash machine individually for 30 seconds to grab as much digi dollars as they can in the allotted time. The amount of cash collected will be the prize amount for each customer.

Digicel Dominica General Manager, Richard Stanton, said; “Digicel is always looking for innovative ways to reward our valued customers and with “Once Upon a Digicel Christmas…” we are doing just that. Each week, we will be bringing Christmas early to our lucky Digicel customers with a host of fantastic prizes. In February, we will make five customers richer with cash totalling to EC$30,000 giving them a superb start to the New Year!”

Digicel is continuing to deliver on its promise to bring the best value to customers in Dominica this season with a range of offers for local, regional and international talk and text offers. There are also great deals on a number of Digicel handsets.

Digicel is really doing a number on our people to the point our people are hooked on digicel its like a an addiction none stop barrage left right and center. That`s business you said? I agree to an extent but why Digicel is not doing the same to create more jobs in Dominica? like building the young people`s life and create some projects in the rural areas of the island we are being mesmarized and taken for a ride while Digicel run out of the country with our money Dominicans keep singing ” TOP ME UP TOP UP! When our people will open their eyes and realized that we are being drained and exploted to the max. I hope i will be told preety soon that ” I TOLD YOU SO”! Wake up my people wake up!
