LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, has introduced a series of low fares across the network in a bid to make travel easier and more affordable for its customers.
The new fares are available for travel during the month of March, and indicate the lead in or lowest fares that are on offer for travel across the network.
The following are examples of the great low fares which are fully inclusive of applicable airport and government taxes:
Head of Corporate Communications Desmond Brown said this is just a sample of the low fares available and customers are encouraged to visit liat.com for even more.
He noted that with these low fares, now is a great time for customers wishing to take their entire family on a much-needed vacation.
Customers are reminded that effective 1st March, fuel surcharges have been removed from all LIAT fares.
We should take note who are the executive members of the board of directors of L I A T, but most importantly the chairman ; Dominicans take note.

WE are not on the list because we do not have a choice. Even if the tickets are expensive me MUST buy it, open your eyes my people, we are in trouble.

There is no such thing as a cheap price, or an expensive price for that matter because “price” is not a tangible object .Have you ever seen or heard of a price for a “price”? You can have cheap or expensive prizes and low or high prices.

Alot of young dominican pilots out here job hunting… why don’t the gvment subsidize an airline brand it as dominica airline and provide jobs for them… making it easier for air access for both dominicans and tourist abroad… we need to be innovative….. LIAT is only taking advantage of us dominicans l.. until we start moving forward with innovation and our own airline, this company LIAT will forever take us for granted…
It’s cheaper for them get handout helicopter ride from wherever to Dominica the rest of the population that never seems to go beyond 72,000 don’t count. We have to stand in line and follow the routes at the high end fares…what else is new?
Politicians in dominica represent themselves alone not the populations,dominicans have voted for them,their salary is way up ,they have no problem to pay a ticket when ever they want to go where ever they like,it\’s a shame….
The politicians don’t pay tickets, we pay taxes that pay their tickets.

Is it just me or why can’t I see any special fares to and from Dominica?
This tells me two things 1) that Liats flight to and from DA operate at a pretty high load factor 2) our 8 M stake in Liat does not count for anything.
Well well why is Dominica always excluded? I wanted to visit d.a and was patiently awaiting to see the price adjustment. . Guess I was wrong.
I wonder why Dominica was not included for the discounted rate, being that we do not have an International Airport. Most people have little or no choice but to use LIAT.

Once again, Dominica is left out. It would be better if such deals were not published here because they are irrelevant to us and only serve to antagonize the public. With respect to mr. Skerrit, what did our alleged $8 million capital infusion for LIAT buy us? We were told that it would buy us influence on the airline;s decision making but we don’t even have a seat on the company’s board. I think that Dr. Gonzalves outsmarted and bamboozled you Sir.

Liat will NOT reduce prices for Dominica because we do NOT have a choice. We MUST use Liat. Lowering fares will only reduce their earnings. That’s according to a Liat employee.
