How the hell can we plan travel with international connections with ad-hoc cancellations like this. I hope this is not a LIAT “thank you” to Roosevelt Skerrit’s injection of funds to help them meet their wage bill last month. This really does not give any confidence for setting up business in Dominica.

Don’t know if you noticed but all the cancelled flights were to destinations that have “international” airports!

The point is that without liat it is near impossible to get in and out of the country all the other countries with international airports have alternatives such as redjet american airlines jet blue etc international airports do matter

I braced my self to read as follows. ” Liat wishes to advise its customers that Liat is no longer in operation! But I breath a little easier when it was reported it`s only flight cancellation. {NO REASON GIVEN” and that was no mistake I suspect and wish to state we the people are Liat and not the otherway lets always remember that we deserve better for our hard earned money.

LIAT did not even proffer a reason why they have cancelled the flights as stated. It could be for very good reasons aimed at safeguarding life and property. But alas, you seem to know why the flights were cancelled. Your opininion would have carried some weight if you had even attempted to suggest a plausible reason why the flights were cancelled. But of course your comment say everything about you and what you wish for Dominica.

But why was the flights cancelled??

    • July 4, 2012

Your guess is as good as mine. Do you think if it was in Liat`s favor they would be quick to state the likely reason[s] for the cancelled flights?

Thanks for the alert. Is there a reason for the cancellation though?

Thanks for the update LIAT, unlike Redjet who never advised passengers when they had cancellations.
