“Rescheduling Flights
If your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed, you are entitled to a refund. Even if your flight is not cancelled, you may make a one-time change to your ticket without any change fees if you are schedule to travel as follows. For all ticketed passengers to and from the following locations:”
GIVE ME THE OPTION TO CANCEL FOR FREE LIAT!, people had to change their plans to and from their destination because of the storm…
Can Dominica be ever a viable tourist destination when the main aircraft, LIAT, is behaving like this? How do you just run cancel and reinstate just like that? No, I am not saying to fly during a storm because safety of all must be priority. However, You don’t run and cancel my Monday flight since Thursday without giving me any option and after I make my necessary change, you coming and reinstate that same flight on the same day. At list I should be given the option to cancel for free. Based on their Thursday announcement, I had to fight my way to Antigua just so I could connect with AA. Pure crap from a pure crap airline that was paid by a pure crap government. When I posted my comment on Friday, folks like budman, D$$$$trail and DA Massive called me idiot but I hope they seeing who the true idiots are by this reinstatement, which was really my point. Skerrit blindfold you guys to the point that you all can’t even think.
will you say seaborne is crap? they had previous cancelled their midday flight for sunday but later operated the flight…your only concern is about your flight but liat have a bigger picture to look at. do you say the same about us carriers who cancel flights for approaching snow storms?? the fact is the storm had already passed and was no longer a threat so the airline reinstated the flight… while you are here being negative hundreds of persons felt quite the opposite cuz they got to travel and still manage to make their international flights.
