NDFD launches new business support unit

The National Development Foundation of Dominica (NDFD) this morning officially launched a new Business Support Service Unit geared at offering all necessary services to ensure the success of small businesses in Dominica.

Executive Director of the NDFD Ronald Knight said the unit was developed to offer support services to existing and new businesses.

According to him, the services offered within the unit includes the preparation of financial statements, business plans, marketing plans and completion of forms and documents such as the Value Added Tax.

“We’ll be offering record keeping and book keeping, along with business plan and recording plan services. We will be offering VAT and income tax assistance, recording or companies name, social security and many more. It will just be adding what we are offering to small business,” he said.

Great iniciative Mr.Knight…sometimes a person has a skill to run/operate a sucessful business but lacks the necessary knowledge to the other relevant part such as record keeping and tax compliance and social security.
