PiNG!net expands to Canefield

Following the successful launch of Marpin’s new broadband Internet service, PiNG!net, in Roseau and Newtown, the Company has now expanded the service to the Canefield area.

Residents of Canefield, including Roger, Antrim and Imperial Road as well as customers and potential customers in Checkhall and Massacre now have the opportunity to experience the fastest personal broadband Internet packages on the island.  Available in 1.5MB, 2.5MB and 3.5MB, PiNG!net is blazing fast.

Marpin’s Public Relations Representative, Marie-Antoinette Mora, says, “We are very encouraged by the positive response to Marpin’s PiNG!net service.  We knew there was need for a reliable and affordable broadband Internet service on the island and PiNG!net has succeeded in filling that void.  The response has been tremendous and we are pleased to advise that our Internet service is now available in Canefield and its environs.”

The company is introducing the service on a phased basis.  “We are rolling PiNG!net out node by node so as to allow everyone to get the best service possible; we are getting it right the first time and every time.  Marpin’s mission is to provide quality broadband service to all of Dominica and we’re well on our way to doing this,” Ms. Mora adds.

PiNG!net is the first in a suite of services being launched by Marpin over the coming months to segment its product and service offerings; a service range that is new and exciting.

I think we should think before we write.. Marpin 2K4 and Marpin Telecoms are two different companies. With Marpin cable it was inherited. So they inherited a poor service which they have to now begin to fix. With Ping Net it is starting. Why you think they launching in one area at a time. Becasue one full island launch gives room to unreliability. one at a time can provide reliability.
I will admit I have LIME service and it not all that great. PING not in my area yet but I looking forward to it. I will be getting more speed for less than I paying LIME. We not talking Wireless network stick to what it is. PING NET or XNET.
    No need for the bashing.
I agree de cable need to work but think of it. The old Marpin beak Cable & Wireless monopoly in the region now we talking DIGICEL once upon a time ORANGE. we have more than one cell phone. we have free call, free text for days and hours. And in the end MArpin Telecoms had to sell.
Give Marpin 2K4 a chance to show us what they can provide. Part owners of Marpin 2K4 giving LIME blows in the Cayman for Internet just like Digicel giving LIME blows in Jamaica for cell service.
All Domijnicans have known is cable and Wireless now LIME and as usual Dominicans just talking.

It`s not the speed i`m concern about but the reliabily of the service. I hope it`s not the nonsense they have been giving us over the number of years. we better pay our cable and hopefuly our internet by the 10th or else……………

    WOW…OMG…3.5Mbps is blazing fast!!!

At 3.5Mbps Usain Bolt would complete his 100M dash and we would miss all of it before we could say PiNG!net.
