In the just-released Condé Nast Traveler 2015 Readers’ Choice Awards, Rosalie Bay Resort has once again been named among the Top Resorts in the Caribbean. Jumping a staggering 35 spots to the No. 10 spot, the eco-boutique and wellness resort is a favorite among the world’s most discerning travelers.
Rosalie Bay Resort on the southeast coast is the only property on Dominica to be honored in this year’s awards. Celebrating its third appearance on the prestigious list, Rosalie Bay has an overall score of 90.693 up from 81.857 just one year ago, which is unprecedented for one of travel’s most competitive awards list.
The 28th annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are a result of the prestigious travel magazine’s survey ranking the best cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, hotels and resorts in the world. More than 128,000 readers—the most in its history–participated in this year’s survey casting votes that resulted in 1,500 of the world’s best travel experiences.
“We are grateful for the continued outpouring of support from our guests, our island community and Condé Nast Traveler,” says Rosalie Bay Resort owner Beverly Deikel. “According to the editors of Condé Nast Traveler, this award recognizes travel experiences that are passionately authentic, personalized and unexpected and this accolade is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff who deliver this to every single one of our guests. It’s an honor to be included with such an esteemed group of properties from around the world and to represent the Nature Island.”
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and one of the most prestigious recognitions of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.” The Readers’ Choice Awards have become more selective and specific to the passions that inspire today’s travelers.
The Readers’ Choice Awards are announced in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler, on newsstands on October 28, 2015. The full list is published exclusively online, at www.CNTraveler.com/rca.
The Tourists at Rosalie must not have seen all the garbage in Roseau.
Congratulations Rosalie Bay Resort.
Dominica is not doing too badly, even with that survey which gave low ratings.
The people of Grand Fond, Rosalie, Riviere Cyrique and Morne Jaune and the South East in general, share the joy of Rosalie Bay. We just hope that award can help ease the strain received from TS Erika…..
Love hearing good news from my country!
Congratulations !!! to Rosalie Resorts owners and staff. Mabe our tourism Sector can learn a thing or two from The Rosalie Resots. Talk less and let the poistive praises and awards from their Guests and Customers say it all. Only in Dominica! it can be done if we all work together. Action speaks louder than words. By the way, whats the status of the rebuildingefforts at the resorts. I`ll be there soon. God bless Dominica.
Congratulations to the owner and staff of the rosalie Resorts, Maybe our tourism Department should learn a thing or two from the Rosalie resort owners, and staff, it can be done. Notice the big difference, our stake holders, { to use their term.} they talk the talk, and nothing seems to materilize, but the people at the RosalieResorts talk less and deliver big time, and have the Awards, and praises from their many Guest to show for it. If i did`nt know better, I would have said, ” What the Hell is going on with our tourism sector?onlyin Dominica! I am Dominican, Are You?https://dominicanewsonline.com/news/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif
This is exciting news for Rosalie Bay Resort and Dominica. Congratulations to the owners, management and staff of Rosalie Bay Resort for their hard work at ensuring that the product they offer and the service they deliver continues to exceed their guests expectations. Well done and continue to this positive path that others may emulate your success and learn some positive things about how you do business.
maybe some ministers of government should go rest at this wellness center after they return from their overseas medical trips and then retire to ease up the financial strain on the country
At the treaury’s expense? You joking of course. Besides govt. never pay their bill on time.
Well done Beverley and staff. Quality will always triumph over mediocrity and tat.
Yes Lord !!!! I’ve been waiting for some great news coming from Dominica this week… love it
Alas thank God too for some good news.
The fact that you are loved by the Lord, is good news enough.
However, we need to give compliment where it is due to Rosalie Bay Resort.
