U.S. Embassy to hold workshop on U.S. trade opportunities

The US Embassy, Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, in collaboration with the Dominica Association of Industry & Commerce, advises of a Commercial Workshop to be held in Dominica on Tuesday October 4th, 2011 at the Fort Young Hotel Conference Room.

The Workshop will take the form of a half day workshop, i.e. from 9:00 am – 12 noon and will focus on US programs that can facilitate trade with the US or US businesses.

The Workshop is titled, “Energizing Trade Relationships with the United States.” Themes to be discussed include the new Food Safety Management Act, Renewable Energy and Franchising opportunities.

Exporting to the US will be the theme running through each presentation. The Workshop is being delivered at no cost to participants; however we wish to limit the participation to 30.

Officers from the embassy will be on hand to discuss themes including the new Food Safety Management Act, Renewable Energy and Franchising.

Interested people can contact the Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce for more information.

DNO, got some questions re this article, where is the government input in all of this, is there not a ministry of trade? or is it that this government is so anti US that they need not want to have nothing close to do with any US activities in Dominica for fear of offending the dying Tyrant in Venezeula?, where is dexia in all of this? Hats off to the DAIC a commendable effort, keep free enterprise alive in DA

Those are a bunch of naive, if not foolish questions.

Dominica is a sovereign state and there are established diplomatic protocols to be followed whenever the US embassy does anything in any country. Hence in order for the US embassy to come here, they have to go through the government’s diplomatic channels.

Glad ADMIN did not waste time answering this. Now you can start chatting crap and say I am wrong.

      Hahahahahahahaha
