Buy Dominica trade show to replace Creole in the Park this year

Minister for Trade, Commerce, and Entrepreneurship, Ian Douglas, has announced that a Buy Dominica campaign dubbed, ‘‘Ti Village Creole, Tout Bagai Domnik” will replace the annual FLOW’s Creole in the Park in October this year.

“I want to invite and announce to all of you our Buy Dominica activity that we will hold to replace the FLOW Creole in the Park which will not be on this year, but all of you all, we want to create that space, a Buy Dominican campaign, so that when our visitors and all of our tourists coming in for our creole festival period they will be able to come to the park where all of our local produce will be on display, “ Douglas stated during the recently held Business to Business forum.

Douglas continued, “Not only will we have our usual cultural activities and our food and our crabs, callaloo and our local foods…our local fashion display also, will form part of this activity,” he added.

The Trade Minister called on  Dominicans to gear up for the event and to ensure that their booths are enlarged for that activity.

The annual FLOW CITP was last staged in October 2019. The event, which precedes the World Creole Music Festival,  showcases the best of Dominica in creole cuisine, local culture, arts and craft, the island’s bouyon music and reggae from young and upcoming artists, and some of the more seasoned and established bands and musicians.

I always knew you were illiterate!

What local products do you and Roosevelt have to sell; and to who? If you and Roosevelt has Marijuana oil; you both are drinking it al;l that is why you both are actually walking inverted!

Marijuana oil is sold in the United States; however, I’ve never seen anyone lined up to purchase the oil. Marijuana is sold for medicinal use; nevertheless, without a doctors prescription a dope head like you cannot buy it!

      Hahahahahahahahahah!

Ole as I am dope head, I don’t have to use Viagra to become sexually aroused; because all the women I deal with are half my age; and when they are on fire, that’s enough to get de ole boy fired up!

In your case you have to combined Viagra, crack cocaine, Dominica bwa-banday and marijuana oil to try and aroused, and still your little wii-wii still can’t rise, it remains limp! oui!
      Hahahahahahahahahahah?

You nasty little rat, you think we don’t know?

A trade show, trade fair, or exposition is an exhibition in which companies promote their products and services. Most trade shows focus on a particular industry; now since we do not have any known or notable industries in Dominica, what will be displayed; shown or introduce to those who attends such a show?
This is just another wild goose talking crap by Ian Last-dog!
When we attend trade show in places such as Las Vegas, we are introduced to new technology, in cars, computers, telephone, electronics in general, ect, ect, and ect; it’s always about new technology; when there are new trends in cloths, people go to such shows in New York or Paris, to watch models strutting on the run-way, buyers place their orders.
What will be displayed and shown in Dominica trade show?
Bananas, hot pepper-sauce and the garbage stored on the side of the streets of Roseau?
Where will the audience to the show come from; to replace the original festival with anything else will be a tragic mistake!

DIGICEL it’s now your time to step-up. Mr. Minister, tourist and visitors can do and buy all what they want at the same time. If FLOW can’t do it, can’t any other corporate enterprise step-up?

If I said it, I would reap hell, but that original show is the brain child of a man named Toulon; who’s grand mother was born in the village of Wesley with a name as ‘Telemaque.’ He took the idea to a minister in the UWP government; Norris Prevost, and the rest is history.

Could it because of that big-eye; pop-eye Ian Douglas Dog-last is about to destroy and erase the last traces of everything successful the UWP accomplished in less than four years; in power?

Etinne-Tods Makak, it looks like you are somehow related with all of those Minister failures. Doesn’t say much for your pedigree either, does it?

Let me expose how silly you are; believing you are insulting me: You think you know about “pedigree” be informed I have knowledge in health science.
If one in your ancestry more than a thousand years ago was born with a medical defect, or diseases, lets say hydrophilic I can use a pedigree and tell you if you or any of your children and their children and continuing generation will have the same medical disorder or disease; that is the science of a pedigree!
          If you use it in the language you are talking in the recorded of my ancestry, you will especially find I belong to an upper-class ancestral, family: Telemaque, Dods (Dodds), Alfred, and Linton;
“with a pedigree equal to many of the gentry; conferring distinction and quality.
My generation main asset is the power of our mind; paramount accdemic ability!
That is why I kick you like a football everyday, and put you in a dog house to sleep you little rat, you stinking dog!
Raining plenty in Wesley get a bath in the rain!

Is that the next level of resilient speech in Dominica? And by the way Mr. Minister for Trade, when you are selecting local produce to display, don’t forget the rum. There’s no greater resilient product than rum. We understand that rum and politics have long been a very noxious mix for some politicians, but rum’s success stems from resilience of spirit (no pun intended).

How about banning all the cheap imported tat that is currently sold on the Old Market stalls and the ugly mess that is currently occupying Dame Egenia Charles Bvd and give the space over exclusively to local product and craft vendors?
