Right on the heels of a much improved live stream of Mas Camp tent last night, DNO and Come See TV continue their collaboration with live coverage of the 2012 calypso monarch quarterfinal tonight.
Organizers are predicting a very competitive show with 32 calypsonians battling to secure a spot among the 20 who will move on to the semi-final round of the competition.
The calypsoes this year have for the most part, received good reviews both from calypso pundits and the calypspo-loving public.
DNO and Come See TV continue to strive to provide the quality of live streaming that will leave subscribers satisfied.

I watch the whole show and LADY STAR was a sure in. Every year that girl brings fantastic lyrics and a great performance. Magwe Sa Judges. So every year she have to suffer.
You guys cant put your act together to bring this live and in good quality. There is zero consistency. To be honest the commentary from DBS radio online together with the commentators (all FREE) was totally worth it. What can we say for you guys.You should be giving a free show for the semis to make amends as we have no confidence that your product is worth anything.
Dominican calypsonians need to understand that they must learn to sing first; before just pointing their fingers at the audience for effect. They shout into the mic,and run the marathon on stage, often breathless and without clarity of expression.
What can we expect? DBS has his fans to please!

The calypso in DA is a complete waste of time.
I guess in the land of the blind the one eye man is king.
When one has no voice control,phrasing,rhythm and melody it is hard to have any interest in the calypso competition.
I have always said many have sang about woman horning man but the best of it with total lyrics,melody,phrasing,arrangement and rhythm is the great SHADOW…
The point is you can have all the lyrics,if the melody and phrasing is out of line the song with me useless.
That is the problem of the calypsos in Da.
