Cannabis businessman arrested in St. Kitts

A California businessman who came to St. Kitts this week offering what he said was billions in dollars in cannabis business has been arrested on three warrants for drug importation, possession and intent to supply, the St. Kitts and Nevis Observer has reported.

St. Kitts and Nevis police said that Alkivaides “Alki” David was arrested on May 9 and appeared in court the following day. He was released on cash bail of $30,000, $50,000 in two sureties, ordered to surrender all travel documents and ordered to report to Frigate Bay police station daily.

According to the Observer, the charges stem from an incident on Tuesday in which he was detained at Robert L Bradshaw airport attempting to import cannabis seeds, plants and products after arriving on a private plane. He is expected to appear in Basseterre Magistrate Court on Tuesday.

Interestingly we learnt through the “grape vine” that this guy was destined to travel to Dominica and may have already met with the Double (Dr) PhD; who claimed the Lennox Linton does not know anyone and nobody knows him. If one has to question some of the Dr’s friends and associates; guess what it’s easy to understand why dogs are attracted fleas or vice versa; a word to the wise.

Next stop was Dominica: In the UK Daily Mail report on this news item, the drug investor team are quoted as saying that their next stop was Dominica:

“‘We’ve have met with Prime Minister Harris to talk about coordinating support efforts before we leave next week for meetings in Dominica and other Caribbean island nations that have shown great interest in our cooperative partnership. Those talks have broken down and led to the arrests of David and Ergen. David and Ergen’s legal team has arrived from the UK and will be filing lawsuits against PM Harris and the government this week.’

Good business venture, St. Vincent already set the price these big companies pay to farmers at $300 a pound when a Canadian co was only offering $50. Now that’s progressive.

    drink rum or smoke.
Have seen how ganga smokers behave at a party. They go in a daze and don’t even recognize people, or socialize, dormant like a door nob.
I know 3 people in Dominica who died before 60 because of their use of ganga oil as medication. All addiction is deadly and ganga , the gateway to death drugs, is no exception.

You know you have lied. His next stop was to your labor friend you are now throwing under the bus was about to engage him in this lucrative business venture. Traitor you are!
Will you now tell us the great many who have died or living miserable lives from your favorite legal opioids, overdosed trying to control their pain? Please tell us, otherwise we can find out by simple research that you neglect to do.

This situation begs to question when Cannabis is legalized, will the plant be used for the real intent and purposes that it to be used for? People, like the situation with every other healing plant or substances, will use this plant in every other way other than what it is intended for. The only issue with cannabis, unlike the others, we have had an issue with the overuse and abuse of the plant for years especially amongst our countries’ youth. I know I sound like a broken record but we need to ensure that when it is legalized it does not backfire in our faces.

Of course I support Alki, people have to rock the boat on legalization of cannabis, he got the ball rolling. There’s a lot of foot dragging and stupid politicking in the islands. TnT finally got on board after refusing to address legalisation. Hey Alki if it gets worse just forfeit the bail money and leave back door, you sacrifice yourself to ‘get the ball running’ for these islands. Hope someone comes to Dominica to make this important statement on long overdue legality of cannabis. It’s a very stupid achaic law whose time has passed that gets in the way of research and freedom for those imprisoned by this law. Thanks on our behalf.

That’s what you get for not respecting or informing yourself on Caribbean laws.

This guy is so full of it that it wouldn’t surprise me if St. Kitts takes him for everything that he’s got money-wise and deports him and his crew. What the heck does he think that he is doing? There is nothing legal about it worldwide, only in certain places and not for importation into other countries. Then again, it could be a CIA operation. They try things like that.

So I knew about this story , it was linked to Denzel Douglas who has a Dominican passport. He was in Da and have plans to open this business in Da as well. This whole thing is being tracked and we will hear the big names in Da who are also involved in it.

Interesting… businessmen are just itching to make money, but by the time Dominica is ready to enter the market it will already be too late, last as usual Dominica… The last bit in the article is interesting though hmmmmm

“David added that he was currently in talks with farmers in other West Indian nations to supply him with cannabis, including Dominica. He said that if local authorities prevented him from being supplied with cannabis here, then he would take his business elsewhere.

“If they tried to do that then I will leave and I will go to some other [expletive] island,” said David.”

Derp, do not be misled by this qualified crook. You want to give his utterance credibility and you know nothing about him. Or are you a ganga agent. He want to help our farmers ? Where was his heroic stance when CHICITA took our bana farmers livelihood or our citrus was banned from the USA market, and compete our grapefruit to death on the English market . Or wiping out the sugar industry in the whole West Indies with their beet sugar and artificial sweeteners. Sweeteners that causes Diabetes, High blood pressure and heart disease .
Have you read any articles by Dr Stephen Sinatra of Cardio Science ?

Your thoughts at all over the place, what you been smoking? You are the only one who seem to think it kills people. Not very bright.

  11. May 12, 2019

Some people think that they can come into a small country with their con-tricks and manipulate people, but those days are over, unless those small countries let down their guards. And with a guy from the Federation with his inflated narcissism, who thinks that St. Kitts was left for him in a will, and always scheming to stuff his pockets by cutting deals with any warm body that will help him to fill his pocket, seemingly in this Cannabis mix, the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has to continue to be watchful.

Here is what I found when I researched him!

He is for real, why would a man so rich with billions bring such misery on himself?

” It’s already been a rough 2019 for eccentric billionaire Alkiviades “Alki” David.
The 51-year-old Hologram USA founder — he’s the guy who visually resurrected Tupac and Michael Jackson for performances at Coachella and the Billboard Music Awards, respectively — has been fighting a pesky series of lawsuits from former employees.

Among other things, the suits describe a nightmarish work environment — David allegedly forced associates to watch pornography, touched them inappropriately, and even hired a male stripper for an in-office birthday celebration.

One ex-employee, Chasity Jones, claimed she was fired for refusing to have sex with David.

That case ultimately went before a jury earlier this year.

Thank you Sir for taking the time to research this guy. And for sharing the information. There are lots of corporate types who are investing in ganga in the USA states where ganga is legal. They say it is for medicine or recreation purposes. But I say it is for making money especially by the big corporation crooks. They have agents pushing for legalization in the Caribbean. These agents are well paid and are very vocal with their slogan “legalize it.” Its like “let me make plenty money.”
Nothing you smoke is good for you. All smoke will damage your eyes and lungs. Ganga is a slow poison that result in heart and brain damage. Time and Life have published magazines on ganga which are very informative.
If ganga is such good medicine why no mention of dosage or side effects?
Because it is almost impossible to control it should be de-criminalized. I do not think those who use it should be tagged as criminals and given a criminal record any more than those who drink rum or…

You need to know that whereas a certain amount of Marijuana is legal for recreation use, it still illegal to peddle and sell.

It is legal from a state point of view; however, Federal Law prohibits the sale and smoking of marijuana in the entire United States.

It’s like this I reside in California, where it is legal to go into a legal marijuana shop and buy the leaves, wrap them and smoke.

Nevertheless, if  someone have Marijuana bought legally in their car (in their possession driving from California, across country,) and for any reason the regular police or State Police pull them over, and find marijuana bought legally, that person is going to jail!

If the person have some document from a doctor stating thy are using due to a medical issue they would be exempt from arrest and prosecution.

You hit it on the head. This guy thinks that he can buy anybody or government because he has the money. He thinks that he is above the law. Time will tell. There is no big money in MJ anymore except for the corporations, not for the little guys.a
