CHECK THIS OUT: Clean and Dynamic Rwanda – a role model for Dominica?

Rwanda_mapThe East African country of Rwanda in the video documentary below has been described as “the cleanest and breathtaking country in Africa.  Rwanda has made remarkable strides as a small country in Africa which recovered from a genocide.

According to US-based attorney, Dominican Gabriel Christian, a fellow Dominican who flies for Rwanda’s national airline told him that he has never been in a cleaner country.

Christian has shared the link to the video below with DNO.

Been there many times (in Rwanda) a country with a good fraction of its land covered in cemetery. Ask the pilot if he has been to Ntarama church which is still covered by the sculls of many women and children who were killed there, and the many orphans and the villiage out East where a 3rd of the men had their right hands cut off. Gabo boy i’m surprised an educated man like you would stand behind such garbage after all you’ve done for Dominica.

Our country will never turn out to be like Rwanda, Because our government to give a sh*t so the people is taking advantage of that, They should force the law for littering, If the government put a special task for those littering trust me the public will take more cautions before the throw trash on the street, Even during carnival the carnival community is not organize right after Jouvert the city look like a land filled these folks taken hours before they clean up the city, where they should have a group of folks to clean after last slap band like other countries in the caribbean.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge Sir. The media we see always show us the most negative part of Africa and so we in the Caribbean hate our African heritage and turn to liquor and drugs to salve our shame. Time to educate our people that Africa is rising and when we help Africa we help the Caribbean. I see the President of Rwanda talking to his people, going round with his ministers and leading by example cleaning roads, collecting trash himself, and teaching. It would be good where our own government led by example like in Rwanda. And it would be good where our culture and government gives the lead to those who are capable not just those who parrot the party line. Too many square pegs in round holes is killing this divided land. Unless we have a unity and reconciliation we shall never build a better country.

They are clean and “developed”. Its not just keeping Dominica clean, it’s also advancing it to a developed state. Take closer look at the infrastructure, design and construction of the roads. Plus there are so much more. 95% of Dominica is undeveloped and the 5% that is developed like the two towns, there are still A LOT more work to be done. So its not just about being green and clean. We can’t eat the trees or live in trees. Get to work together government and people, business owners, schools, work together and change the way things are to reach at least close to a developed and green state.

For us to achieve this in Dominica, we need to work together, each of us need to do our part. It is not a Government issue as some of us would cry. Dominicans on a whole need to keep their surroundings clean , tidy and Beautiful. We have been dubbed the most beautiful island in the region but we need to clean our surroundings.

Propaganda for another African hard man, Paul Kigame, who does not brook any opposition.

Real propaganda for another African hard man, Paul Kigame, who does not brook any opposition.
These dictators use diplomacy to their advantage these days.
They go as far as contracting major news houses and former ministers and presidents to do media campaigns in their favor.
