HOUSTON, USA – A pistol brought to Ross Elementary School by a 6-year-old kindergarten student fell to the cafeteria floor and discharged today, slightly injuring three children, a Houston school district spokesman said.
The injuries were not considered life-threatening, spokesman Jason Spencer said. The incident occurred about 10:22 a.m in the school at 2819 Bay, he said.
The boy who brought the gun was wounded in the foot, another 6-year-old boy was wounded in the leg and a 5-year-old girl was wounded in the foot, Spencer said.
The children were taken to a hospital and their parents notified, Spencer said. Police were investigating how the child obtained the gun.
Television footage showed at least three students being removed on stretchers.

When u remove the bible in the schools, thats wat happens. U dont just remove something and its replaced with nothing, something always occupies mt spaces. When u clear out a piece of land and u dont plant anything, here comes the weed(grass). But plant flowers,yes there will be grass amongst it but u can pull out these weeds. Lord have mercy.

It does appear that school security continues to be lax in the U.S.
I have always thought, no exception in Canada, that rather than bring books to school they are bringing guns and other weapons.
How was this 6 year-old child able to get a gun and bring it to school?
Parents who possess guns must keep them in a safe and locked area.
If I were the parents of the injured innocent children I would sue the school authorities and the government.
