Albert Jno Baptist will have to pay the court $1,000 by the end of August or spend four months in prison for ‘bursting’ the head of Jeremiah Guist. Bad Blood have reportedly existed between the two for some time now.
Jno Baptist appeared before Magistrate Candia George at the Roseau Magistrate Court Friday morning where he pleaded guilty to the charge of wounding.
According to the facts of the matter from police prosecution, on June 24, the complainant was sitting in a bar in Virgin Lane having a drink with friends when he felt a blow on his head. He then felt blood running down his face. He later told police of his transgressions with the defendant.
“OK, I wrong, I take my wrong,” the defendant admitted when police questioned him at the police headquarters.
During the proceedings the complainant took the stand. Guist showed the Magistrate the wound on the top of his head but claimed that he was not feeling any headaches.

why he have to pay the court? so the victim not getting nothing…so if my neighbor who always making noise with us, and trespassing our land is taken to court, we not getting nothing…he just paying the court, and my day goes to waste?
