The Edward “Alcapone” Green murder trial enters its 10th day today June 28.
Green, 73, is accused of murdering his tenant Damian Dorival in June 2008.
Dorival’s headless body was found in a ravine next to the UWI center on Elmshall road while his head was later discovered on a stone near a river in Palm Groove.
The prosecution, headed by Trinidadian lawyer Keith Scotland has called a number of witnesses to testify including one of Green’s son, David ‘Pino’ Green.
On Thursday, ‘Pino’ was cross examined by Darius Jones, one of the three lawyers for Green which is headed by Peter Alleyne.
He was also reexamined by the prosecution.
The matter resumes at 9:00 am with Justice Bernie Stephenson as the presiding Judge.
I have an instinct that he and his father did not get along. I have been hearing some things that his mother told him to say those things against his father, that if the father is incarcerated for life they will get his estate.
I hope he will be well-cross examined. It is too bad he was not given a lie detector test. The truth of his evidence, one way or the other would really be revealed.
The bottom line is who dismembered the man’s head…?
The truth is that, the man’s head was “dismembered.”
what u really want to ask is, who dismembered the man?
Justice and Truth please do not say what you want or what you hear about the young boy. Alcapone has several children so the boy’s Mother cannot get his estate and also you should also hear as well that this man abused their mother as well infront of the boys. You may also have heard other things said again in relation to the boy on the wheel chair. So why do you choose to be over the young boy and about lie detector test. Do you read the witnesses statement that the man was seen on the night close to virgin lane where the victim’s vehicle was abandoned.
The truth is lie detector test is for all of them including the defendant. It seems you are taking sides.
DNO please carry articles of other witnesses’s testify. There are more than 20 witnesses so far.
Nice one frabo lol
You can’t call a fork a spade.
I would like to listen to the cross examination.
Jones: Mr. Pinto, are you sure it was your father who asked for your assistance to move the body, and not someone else? Pinto: yes! it was my father. Jones: Could you describe your father to the court? Pinto: My father is a rude, rough and ruthless man. Jones: Well then, my client seems GUILTY.
Did Kapone ever state whether or not he was guilty?
