Wesley, so called man, I told you whatever happens in Wesley; I know more about it than you: DNO do not have to mention the names of the victims nor the perpetrator, because I am already informed. It is sad to learn the perpetrator late  grandmother is the biological aunt of yours truly!

One of the victims is also related to me as well as the perpetrator. If it happen in Wesley, it is always going to be among some family, and that is the saddest part of it all!

So, Mr. Wesleyboy/man/girl or child watch your manners when you are dealing with me, because if you dig deep enough you might just find some of my blood in you keeping you alive, and if you talk to lowed to me I might simply extract all me blood in you and down you will go out of existence.

    So watch your manners now!

Randy ……… Doing like Dominica the only place with gun violence. Dominica along statia st Barth’s is one of the islands with low gun violence. Other islands practically every month is a gunshot. Dominica is once in a while u hear someone get shot by a gun. The other islands worst out there. Can’t blame the government. For every crime. Bet where Randy be now people get shot every day lol

Tuesday at approximately 9:30pm by the community centre in Bath Estate, at least 5 to 6 young men all dressed in dark clothes each with a gun, shooting bullets in the air.
apparently they were waiting or preparing for a attack by another gang over a stabbing incident earlier that day or on Monday.

where are all these guns coming from?
    where is the police?

The easy accessibility of guns is very worrisome. Guns have become the weapon of choice for these miscreants who are bent on creating havoc and suffering. There should be a concerted effort by law enforcement to rid the society of illegal guns and ammunitions. For law enforcement to be successful in this endeavor, they should beef up their intelligence gathering department. Having said that, the Police Force should be led by intelligent, articulate, courageous, committed, diligent, supremely competent, independently minded people of integrity. Having the same compromised, inarticulate and docile people at the top of this institution would only serve to further demoralize and eventually reduce the Police Force to a useless entity.

I think Erica and Maria would shake these with their violence but it’s like fun for them.. They should give them hard labor when caught with illegal guns. if the gun are being use in any shootings double the charges for them to learn.

Considering that the police dept. only rarely gives a gun permit these days, all of these people have guns illegally. It is time to make it a reality for decent people that are trained to be able to have a firearm because the hoodlums certainly to have access to guns making for unfavorable odds.

Sometimes I wonder how Dominicans on an island that has no gun shop keep getting their hands on guns.. If is poor inspection on the ports and airports or coastguard not doing the job they are suppose to by patrolling the coasts of the island for any illegal entry. Dominica step up your game, that’s why people leaving the country, violence is always the answer for people.

      Dominican
Do you actually live in Dominica ?
Have you ever traveled along the entire coast line of Dominica by sea ?I have .
Do you know all the little nookes and crannies along Dominica’s coast line? i know most
Your remark ”if is poor inspection on the ports and airports or coastguard not doing the job they are suppose to be patrolling the coasts of the island for any illegal entry ;” is irrelevant .
Some of the guys i know work their butts off (the genuine ones) they can only work with what they have and under the conditions they have they face .I’ll give you an example , One of these boats these days, with two100hp engines leaving Martinique at the same time the coast guard is preparing to leave Roseau to intercept it ,on a calm day will get to Fond St Jean before the coast Guard gets there, trust me on that. I know a few guys who know those seas better than the bed they sleep in, who can give the coast guard the slip on an ideal night. Dominica’s coast line isn’t…

A report like this once again confirms that my decision years ago to leave the island was absolutely correct. At the time I realised that the PM and his political party where corrupt and quite happy to trample on any law when it suits them, would eventually result in a lawless state.
All in all the majority of the country for one reason or another are unwilling to challenge Skerrit and he, equally, is unwilling to implement the law in numerous cases in particular when labour operatives are the alleged perpetrators. A situation like that can only result in lawlessness and eventually in total chaos. To Skerrit that does not matter, as long as he, his administration and his Party are not being attacked. While the citizens are killing each other he keeps on filling his and his friends pockets at the expense of the country. I for one am done with Dominica and if I was a religious person I would say Dominica will soon equal Sodom and Gomorrah for Skerrit to use as his own pirate nest.

These shootings are signs of things to come if the gun violence isn’t brought under control. Dominicans better wake up to the dangers now and work with the police to deal with this threat to innocent lives. Take a look at what is happening in some of the other Caribbean countries with guns, drugs, prostitution and other forms of criminal activities, to see what can happen in Dominica.

Admin, try to get the names of the victims, and the name of the perpetrator, and have them publish. I am surprise that there is a place called “Gulf” in Wesley, in my day in our village no such place existed!

There were no hardened criminals walking around the place; only a few rum-drinking fists fights; nevertheless, over the years Wesley has evolved into the killing field of Dominica, it seems to become the rape and murder capital of the island!

That is a sad and nasty thing to happen in a village where every one residing there are certain to be biologically related; I would not be surprise  if the involved are all related.

Francisco, how long now since you left Wesley? You like to talk like you are an authority on Wesley, I am 56 years old and don’t remember ever seeing you in Wesley, did you go home when the lady that raised you died? Yes Ma John….Stop the pretending, just observe like the rest of us who left and are not there in the day to day life… My prayers are for the injured and also for a young man who felt he had to resort to this type of foolishness. Wesley is like everywhere else in Dominica- A place in need of direction.

At least everyone knows my name; but, who is this little gutter rat posing as “Wesleyman?” If one were to pay that gutter rat to write his/her name on DNO, the bit of scum would stop being Wesley-man and disappear into oblivion!

What does it matter when last somebody a person went home to the place of their birth. I am not one of them who run to Dominica every six months simply to show people how fast I can go in and out of America, a rolling stone in the ocean accumulates no mass!

I accumulate mass where I am, and when one of my relatives seeks assistance; financial help from me, that mass I did not squander to go to Dominica to show off, I give to them.

      • Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque
        February 14, 2018

Guy even when I was a little boy in Wesley I avoided Eden Road: I am a boy from Hunt Road Okay!

If you know Emlord, and Dr. Griffin Benjamin MD, we grew up next door, Emlord and  I are older than Griffin.

I did not go past the four road by the police station, where  one road leads to the Roman Catholic Church, one led to the old to the Methodist Church which Erika blew away recently, and the other which leads to Eden Road, there was always a pile of violence at that end of the Village.

Ma Jacko place was not  popular, then it was Rocksen, Robin  Ma Griffith at Eden Road, Jolly (Sparrow)  Philips, and the Robins, on the road going towards the Roman Catholic Church, they had a Band “RBO”  a dance Hall and  Run-shop.

That was in the 1960’s: In recent years Hubert James place on Londonderry Road became popular, my late uncle, Vasalow had a nice place at Eden Road.
