Randy Piper of Cochrane who was reported missing by the police on Thursday is alive and well.
Police issued a release on Thursday seeking information on the whereabouts of the 31 year old Piper who was reported missing on the 13th of October.
The police described Piper as being six feet tall with a dark complexion and said he had left home on September 29 and was last seen by his girlfriend in Yampiece the following day.
However an update from the police on Friday revealed that Piper was somewhere in Dominica “working on the farm of a public servant”.
According Police PRO John Carbon “having spoken to him by telephone, he said he is ok and just needed sometime away from his family.”

He is alive and well. He wanted to be away for sometime from family for a while. This indicates that he has family problems. There is a reason why he left. There is a reason why his supposedly disappearance was not reported. I hope he will be able to sort matters out and return to his family.

Happy he is ok however, he could at least let his girlfriend and family know where he is.. But if he wants so much space I would tell him stay away, cuz apparently he was being selfish not thinking how that would affect his girlfriend and family
How can the police confirm he is alive through a telephone conversation? They could have spoken to anybody claiming to be Randy Piper. This is not good. Or is it the release that made an error and suggested confirmation by telephone? Hmm.
Was he wearing clothing, shoes, a hat, distinguished marks? is he bald, low cut, dreadlocks,…? Most men in D/A a dark skin and 6ft tall…You think we could find him without proper description?

Why would a man leaving his home on September 29, last seen on September 30, reported missing on October 13, and is only becoming PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE on October 25. DNO, do you realize that so much time have passed if anything illegal is involved that man could very well be in serious danger, or otherwise none-existant. Why did you all wait so long to report? I thought a person should be reported missing within 24 hours.

The missing man must have a picture somewhere. It’s a simple, just ceck the girlfriend or another family member for a pic.

A photo would be very helpful. The residents of Cochrane do not necessarily need a photo; however, for a nationwide search a photo is definitely helpful if seen he’d be recognized. Let’s all pray that nothing illegal is involved and that he get back to his loved ones safely.
