Crime Stoppers Dominica seeks assistance in Mero robbery

CrimeStoppersCorrectSizeCrime Stoppers Dominica appeals to anyone having information relating to the robbery at Greenhouse Bar and Grill in Mero on Sunday, February 21, 2016 in which a sum of cash and two mobile phones were taken.

Those with information are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS [8477] or submit a tip online at www.crimestoppersdominica.org.

The public is reminded that calls to Crime Stoppers Dominica are answered by a professionally trained attendant at a call center outside of Dominica. The attendant will not ask for your name and as such, your identity is fully protected and could never be revealed. The call is free, it is confidential and there is no caller ID. The information you provide is electronically transmitted to the Dominica Police who proceeds to take the necessary action.

Crime Stoppers Dominica is a community-based, non-governmental organization managed by a civilian board of directors. The public is also reminded that Crime Stoppers Dominica is an independent entity and so, we are not the police.

The organisation was established to provide a safe and comfortable avenue through which the public can report about crime without fear of their identities being known.

The anonymity factor is guaranteed since the call centre is overseas based and the attendants are not interested in knowing names and there is no caller ID.

Pertaining to the mobile phones, I expect they were reported to the service provider A.S.A.P. who should know if they were used, when and where. They could be traced. The police could investigate it.
They are fools who steal those phones, use them and expect they will get away with it.
When reported as stolen, the service is immediately canceled.
Those who try to register the phone as a new one, could get caught. The phone has a number, etc., which could be traced.
Dominican service provider of these mobile phones, take note. Those who register them in a customer’s name, beware and take note.
This is my help to Dominica/nationals, law-abiding ones.
May God assist Crime Stoppers and the Police to catch those vicious criminals. Let us pray that they are caught.
God bless Dominica and law-abiding nationals.
Those who commit crimes in any manner, have denied themselves the blessing and grace of God. To receive them, you must repent and return the stolen goods.

That is not the case in Dominica, they simply use a different sim card and the phone will take that number. they are dummy phones

Thieves will try everything not to be caught. This is why these technologies are consistently upgraded. This one should. Hope it will soon.

Those brazen and dangerous criminals/thieves, I hope you are caught.
Nationals who are aware of those who committed this crime are obligated to report it to Crime Stoppers or the Police.
Why do I say obligated? First of all, D/ca is your country. You should know as a national, you owe this to yourself and the D/can society, to help the police in preventing and combating crimes.
You should also know it is a crime to aid and abet criminals. If you know the culprits, you must report it to the authorities, incognito.
Generally, D/cans are Christians. You must not hide criminals and crimes. If you fail to do your duty, know that God will hold you accountable. It is not a threat. It is the Law of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ told us in Vigilant and Faithful Servants: “Those who know and do nothing, it is a sin. They will be beaten more severely.” This means, severely punished. Hell?
Get to your Holy Bible and study it, if you doubt and deny what I stated.

Did you check that priest’s Suzuki that was stolen and then dumped at new Town savanah. Why did they change the plates? That looks like it was planned and could be linked to the guys committing that robbery you know, dumping it there and making their way into New Town ghetto or up Kings Hill. I’m just saying. Check, that for fingerprints because something smells criminal, about that.

 In the United States a cash reward is almost always associated with Crime Stoppers’ request for information that leads to the arrest and/or conviction of persons involved in certain crimes. The cash reward acts as an incentive for people who may not normally be willing to come forward with helpful tips that may assist the police in making arrests. With the way most Dominicans love money, I can guarantee you a cash incentive would bring forth information for crimes that happened in the 1950’s, crimes that are being planned and even crimes that some people might be thinking about!!! All jokes aside, we must admit that this is in fact a very helpful tool in crime solving and that sometimes it is not all bad to emulate or improve on the ideas or practices of others. I say start with a thousand dollar reward and let’s see how it works! Thank you.
