Dominican murder suspect surrenders in Antigua

James has surrendered to the police

The Dominican national wanted in connection with murder in Antigua has surrendered himself to the police.

Earlsfield “Earlfred” James of Upper Fort was on the run since last week.

He was wanted in connection with the alleged murder of Kemmoy Jeffers of Fort Road, who was found dead last Friday night around 11 o’clock, in a house at Fort Road.

James surrendered himself at the St. John’s Police Station in Antigua around 1:50 am on Thursday.

He was accompanied by family members.

Two other people have already been arrested and charged with the murder in connection with the matter.

Jeffers was found on the road with his legs bound and a rope tied around his neck

You guys have no clue of the circumstances of how this happened and you all need to stop, Do you all know that the victim is a career Jailbird and one of the biggest repeat offender you can find and is a known individual to law enforcement, yet as usual without knowing the facts but is making these ridiculous comments and saying all bad things about the accused and by the way, this was a case of self defense and in time that will come in a court of law. The accused is not expecting to get a fair trial because he is a foreigner, but before giving up himself I advise him that was his best Chance because due process must takes it’s course and a jury of your peers and will make an informed decision of the facts and evidence at the appropriate time. I have full confidence in a court of law….not public opinion.

Well this is some Dominicans for you.

They judge you before you know u did anything

Ignorance as a badge of honour.

Now self defence has to be proven before you can say it is.

How do u explain a dead man found with his neck and feet tied as self defence

And even he is a well known criminal or murderer doesn’t mean he isn’t human?

      He has rights as well.

So because someone killing stealing or rapping animals or underage kids doesn’t give anyone to kill him unprovoked.

If at the time of the murder he was the aggressor and you made a blow to safe guard life and he pass as a result of the blow he sustained the u can make a self defence case.

But foot and neck tying needs more explanation in my view.

Self defence has to be proven

I am not judging them guys but just giving my two pence views base on my training and knowledge for your own guidance

And you did well to advise him to turn him self in it can work in his favour at the end of the case.

Mister looking like a padna I know from st.joe
It’s a shame when our people in the diaspora give Dominica a bad name.
And the worst part is when they get deported after they take their jail is back home they coming and do all their havoc.
And I don’t believe it was a case of self-defense since they found the deceased well tied-up.
    Hope justice is served.
