A man was attacked with a fish gun in Wesley and has been hospitalized.
The police said the incident occurred on Monday, February 8 at around 10:30 am.
The victim has been identified as Jefferson Hypolite, 25, of Wesley by Police PRO, Acting Inspector, Pellam Jno Baptiste.
He was injured in the back and taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) where he was seen by a doctor and admitted.
Meanwhile in Bellevue Chopin, Ted Williams, sustained injuries to his right shoulder with a cutlass, at about 1:00 pm, on Tuesday 9th February 2016.
He was transported to the Accident and Emergency Department of the PMH, where he was seen by a doctor, and admitted.
Investigations into both matters are ongoing, Jno Baptiste said.
The Police seek the aid and cooperation of the public in solving both matters.

I thought they said they had crime under control, the year just started people.
Is hunting season
That’s a stupid question, people do not use Fish-guns to hunt animals, we use them to dive in the sea, and rivers to do spear fishing. It is sad that in a place like Wesley our people are harming each other. Unless the perpetrator or the victim came from out of the village and settled in Wesley.
If one do some family background check, one my find both the victim, and the assailant may be blood related on some side family side or the other.
You people in Wesley need to change your drunken barbaric ways, and try to live with one another, we are in a civilize world, if you cannot live like humans together, try to simply exists in peace!
