Gang-related violence lands man in hospital

One young man is currently nursing serious head injuries at the Princess Margaret Hospital following what appears to be gang-related violence in a Roseau North community.

The young man, who is employed as a government surveyor, was reported to have been struck with a rock by another young man who was accompanied by several other young men.

Eye witnesses say the right side of the young man’s face appeared to have been severely damaged.

He was rescued by neighbors who subsequently called the ambulance services which transported him to the hospital.

Police are investigating the matter and DNO will continue to follow that story.

The incident occurred on Sunday.

What is even more frustrating and unfortunate is that the perpetrators are yet to be caught by the police and even after they are caught they are realeased. These little boys are terrorizing the community , threatening innocent people and even after numerous reports on them an arrest cannot be made. The guy they attached is not a member of any gang ,he just happen to be a friend of the ‘ENEMIES’. They go by the saying ‘ALL CHINEY IS CHINEY’ so anyone associated with their ‘ENEMIES’ automatically become a target. Even all this the sad part is that their mothers uphold that type of behavoir!.they cover up for them and blames other people when those little wolligans laugh and continue to believe they are untouchable! something need to be down and fast! carnival is around the corner and we dont know what they have up their dirty little sleeves.

Dominica now is the breeding ground for young criminals. The situation is really bad.there is a sense of desperation and wanton lawlessness disobedience for law and order. Majority of young people i talk to are willing to use cutlass and guns to resolve their issues. Parents that love their children do what it takes to protect your children from these unbecoming society. Dominica has the highest rate of illiterates i have ever seen. Poverty is no excuse for people to be aimless.

The biggest cowards in the world are those persons that are part of gangs hence the reason they’re afraid to move around on their own. A bunch of high grade fools you so called ‘bad boys’ are!

Officers hunt down these vagabonds like they ought to be hunted!!
