This generation of young men in Montin are way too violent. there may still be ways to save them from themselves, if the people of the community would just tone down their vile ways, Grandbay too. The same thing happened again in the same area about 1:00am just after a peaceful carnival in Lalay by a Montine youth. Opec is still recovering from the gunshot wound.

Hmmmm, when people have guns they want to show how big they are and what they can do. I bet you now the Damn Fool ‘Desmond Rocque’ is now in jail crying. His hormones may have been racing at 120 mph.

A few days ago I was pleased that there were no murders in D/ca for a while and hoped no more. This was premature. In one week, so far, there are two.
What is the reason this man was murdered?
When someone is murdered, the murderer has the person’s blood on their head; all over their body.
Can people not have an argument without resorting to weapons of any nature?
You murdered someone, you are held accountable. You have caused a fellow man, your victim to die and you have your life. Is this fair to your victim?
You should have controlled your temper and anger. Now you’re caught. You have to pay the price..

    • May 20, 2017

“Montine is and always was a bad place.” I guess that’s why it produced people like you? People who claim to know so much about MONTIN yet are unable to SPELL the name? The ENTIRE WORLD is bad: America being the worse, yet, most of you Dominica fashion your lives after them. That said, may justice be served; no one deserved to die at the hand of another.

Montine is a French family name.

        – Montine, part of constituency no. 4( Grandbay). Govt. Electoral Office
        – Montine. Ordnance Survey map as used by the Gov. Lands- & Survey Div.
        – Montine . Wikipedia
        – Montine. Geo-postal code data base for Grandbay district.

Ask illustrious Dr. Osmond Baron where hew was born – Montine (Grandbay)!

Did the gunshot kill him,or the lack of proper medical treatment kill him, cause he was alive for almost 8 hours following the incident..what happened in that 8 hours his life couldn’t be saved..r.i.p. young brother..violence is the never the answer..but proper medical care could have saved your life..

This is not necessarily so that he may not have received proper medical care to save his life. It depends where he was struck and how injured he was.

Man your mind is warped. Are you saying it is ok to shoot a fellow as long there is medical care nearby to treat him? So now you putting the blame on the medical servie but not the gunman? Too much weed smoking in Montine brother, too much..

Another young man succumb to an untimely death when is this nonsense gonna stop?, Dominica stop trying to be like Amerikka, guns coming in illegally, the police don’t care stop it before it’s to late mr Cabon, stop chasing the Marijuana ,stop the killing,.

    • *… … stop chasing the marijuana, stop the killing.*

Marijuana damages the brain causing bad judgment and loss of control. It is not the cause of every murder but it is involved in some crimes including murders.

The impulse to kill erupts from the sinful nature of the human being. The only cure for this is the
gospel which is defined for us in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Let it be preached and taught in every neighborhood and community on the island until it is clearly understood by all.

It is by BELIEVING that Christ bore the penalty for our sins on the cross – and by RECEIVING Him as our Savior – we are saved and made new. Please read Romans 5:6-9, St. John 1:12, 1 John 1:7, St. John 3:16,
      1 John 5:11-13.

*For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.* (Ephesians 2:8,9)

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill.

Here you go pontificating off topic in your lonely campaign against marijuana. How about pastors, priests who kill, rape etc. and get convicted? Preaching is not the cause of every murder but preachers/pastors have been involved in some crimes including murders. Yet you still do it. Will you pontifiate on that please?

        @Rev. Donald Hill

where has it been proven that marijuana \” not the cause of every murder but it is involved in some crimes including murders\”. Would there be more murders if people smoked more weed ? People commit violent acts with or without drugs. Marijuana has always been known to calm people..not murder. Let\’s get to the root of the problem and not the symptom of the disease.

The disease i am talking about is mental slavery that is the poison..its even worse than the drugs..We a slave to Money and Vanity..that love is slowly turning us into killers, dealers and wateva we need to be for us to BLING..or Shine..

Rev. Majority of all crimes in Roseau is to attract the opposite sex with Bravado, Money and outrageous behaviour..another poison..Sex is another thing that is bringing up the crime rate. We are sooo obsessed with FORNICATING sex that we will kill just to impress woman.

Violence is entertainment now..Jah Guide them youts in the ghetto cuz SANTAN have…
