Displaying the wounds he’s alleged to have sustained from the shooting incident which resulted in the death of one Bath Estate man, Danny Joseph of Pottersville appeared before Magistrate Candia George Thursday morning with an injured eye, a wound to his head and a limp.
A charge of grievous bodily harm was read to Joseph for the wounding of Omar Thomas.
The defendant is being represented by attorney Dawn Yearwood who informed the court that she would not be applying for bail for her client at the moment.
The preliminary inquiry into his matter is set to begin 3rd September, 2012.
Moments after, his brother Jack Joseph, also represented by Dawn Yearwood, appeared unperturbed before the magistrate where five charges were read to him for the same incident.
The charges included two possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life charges, possession of firearm with intent to endanger, murder and shooting with intent to endanger life.
Jack was charged for the shooting death of Wayne “Hadderz” Maxwell.
The preliminary inquiry into this matter will begin 25th October, 2012.
The fatal shooting occurred on Sunday 3rd June at the Frankie Bellot-owned “Krazy Kokonutz” entertainment spot.
According to eyewitnesses one man got stabbed after two men began fighting.
They said the brother of the injured man, now identified as Jack Joseph, pulled out a gun and shot the other man who reportedly died on the spot.
Both Jack and his brother Danny are on remand at the State Prison.
