Mark Anthony Gibson is in trouble with the law.
Gibson, 44, appeared before Magistrate Evalina Baptiste at the Roseau Magistrate Court Monday morning and pleaded not guilty to a series of charges including that of wounding, threats and theft.
According to information read to the defendant by the Clerk of Court, the Kingshill man allegedly wounded Churchill Henderson in Roseau on July 11.
In addition, he allegedly threatened Urskin James on July 10 by telling him, “I have to burn your house.” The defendant is also reportedly associated to a stolen Toshiba Lap Top from a woman in Roseau.
Police prosecution had no objection to the bail of the defendant.
However, Gibson will be remanded at the Stock Farm prison until next week since no one was available to sign bail on the his behalf.
The trial date in this matter is carded for December 5.
