A 20-year-old is presently a patient at the Princess Margaret Hospital after he was shot in the neck in Yampiece on Wednesday.
Police have identified him as Terries Charles of Bath Estate.
Police PRO, Inspector John Carbon, told DNO that Charles “is presently nursing injuries at the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) following a gunshot wound he sustained to his neck.”
He said the circumstances which led to the shooting are still being investigated by the police.
DNO will continue to follow this story and will publish new information as it becomes available.

Those who live by the gun/drugs will die by the gun/drugs. It is just a pity, when bullets are flying, innocent people will be in the cross fire. A bullet has no eyes, it hit what every it is aimed at and when it is fired, there is not turning back. A lot of the parents know what their children are involved in, but makes so many cover ups.

Why was he shot? Can they not argue or have a misunderstanding without using a gun/weapon? I always wonder where these people get guns and how were they able to be in the country especially in the hands of those who are poor.
I hope the perpetrator is caught, the gun is found and seized and this criminal is dealt with accordingly by the Court/magistrate.
