The police are conducting investigations into reports of a missing man from Penville.
The man has been identified as Robert Dubois and he has been reported missing from March 2, according to police PRO, Inspector John Carbon.
Reports are that Dubois, 36, who is mentally ill, went fishing in an area known as Abalolo in Penville and has not been seen since.
Police and villagers conducted a search of the area, but only a cutlass belonging to Dubois was found.
On March 5, 2014 the Coast Guard was informed that a body was seen about one and a half mile off the Penville coast by a European vessel.
The coast Guard was deployed and a search was conducted in the area but the body was not found.
Subsequent searches were conducted but all proved futile.
The search for the body has since been called off.
Wow people just missing on the sea those days there.god help them.the two brothers from portsmouth Have not since been found. I cant understamd what happen to those boys.it seems like they nust vanish in thin air.not even a piece of hood was found not even a bottle a ore a if the the boat sank .cant believe that.famillys be strong.
How sad. Due to his mental ill health, this may have been a cause. If only he had not gone alone. For the sake of his family and their relief, I hope his body is found.
I wonder why did the European vessel not pick up the body and store it for the coast guard. I also wonder exactly where was that body located.
This is a very sad news. i think the search should continue so there could be closure. i hope he is found very soon. Penville do not need to be in the limelight again for a missing person like a few years ago.
Cathrine, Helena, Justin, Edward his siblings please hold on to faith in God that he will found.
God BLESS YOU ALL with strenght in this time
