I am starting get piss with some of you just waiting to get headline especially when it reads “GRAND BAY” to start barking. when things happens other places you all are tight lip. What has GRAND BAY done to you all that all you hate it with a passion? Oh , don’t answer that. Why do you all take pleasure in destroying the good charter of one of Dominica most solid communities? Oh, don’t answer that either. But let me say one thing, when positive things happens the person from the exact area or village or place it happens or the person who does it takes ownership. but when it is something negative they leave it up in the air so the bad name goes to someplace else or someone else. Well be informed that the man who got shot is from Grand Bay and the one who shot him is from “MONTINE” and he is in police custody .

Ya I know what you mean. This is the perfect example, Just look at the stats:
One shooting in Granbay = 2 shootings in Roseau, 2 police stabbed, 9 arrests for crimes, numerous amo/weapons confiscated etc. etc.
Sad thing is that while Granbay community is working on calming the temper of those idiots, crime spreading/growing all over. There are too many ignorant people, it can get worse all over but let’s be hopeful for our country’s sake.

Love your sarcasm!!! They are more foolish than they are “bad”. This handed-down “bad man” mentality is indeed sad.

That’s the best you can come up with? SAKWEY SOT. Instead of condemning such behavior, here you are advocating it and when things turn for the worst it’s people like you who come forward casting blame on the government. Go find something useful to do and stop with this gibberish. Go read a book…IDIOT!!!!!

You tried to say something here but Asa is a bad example, poor taste in lyrics, bad stage presence and anger management issues, try someone else’s lyrics, Chubby comes to mind.

Anyone with information and no names were published? If the person is on the run, does it not make sense that the alleged perpetrator’s name be published so that if someone who was not a witness to the crime, but knows the identity of the person, encounters that person, they can call the cops?

Na, that would only make sense.

The police force is a joke..For SO LONG that firearm problem has been in GBay..Willy nilly discharging of bullets in broad daylight…How many raids are made at the homes of some of the suspects..?In the meantime,it is getting worse..There are some trigger hungry goons who intimidate good citizens..Why not change the focus?.We also need stiffer penalties for those found in possession of unlicensed firearms. No one is safe from these weapons.

You are right. Law abiding member of the opposition get lifted from their beds and their, premises ransacked, top to bottom by the police, in force only to harrass them. Why can’t they do the same but raid suspected nests of illegal activities to confiscate any illegal substances, capture fugitives and get these lethal weapons out of circulation. Now, that is something I would applaud.

Don’t hold your breath… it may never come to pass.

The law never works in our favor. It may seem to slant that way at times but it is never working for us, the cattle.

Also, too many protocols to go through when dealing with criminals… 1 mistake and you would have a major set back. (not that i care)

The law will put you down when taking matters into your own hands… I am almost certain at this point, the police did nothing to help…

This is all from past experiences… there are many more examples; however i prefer the police attempt proving me wrong…
