Police investigating human remains find

police do not crossPolice say they are investigating a case in which human remains have been found on the east coast of the island.

According to police PRO, Inspector John Carbon, on Thursday June, 27, members of the coast guard and police officers from the La Plaine District, along with villagers of Delices recovered flesh with no bones in an area called, Chez Makou.

The remains were taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital where it was examined by a medical practictioner and confirmed to be that of a human body.

The remains have not been identified and are being referred to as John Doe.

A post mortem will be conducted and investigations are continuing, according to Inspector Carbon.

I have been thinking about this ‘flesh’. I concluded that it may be a ‘torso’. The head, hands and legs are missing.
The torso has very little bones. It has spines. It would be easier to dissect it of bones and of its intestines.
The arms and legs have bones.
It is a mystery that someone would go through the trouble of taking out the bones of the entire body, leaving only the flesh and for what reasons.
Dominicans, keep watch of your neighbours and their activities. You do not have to spy on them but note what they say and their lifestyle. You could conduct your private observation quietly, by merely instinct and observation. Never let them know about your feelings.
Some of them may go to church and others may not go to church. Keep watch and pray to God. The culprit may be exposed in time. If and when that happens, continue to keep quiet but report it to the police.
God bless Dominica and protect its good people!

This is not the only time that a missing person from Boetica has been found deceased with mysterious circumstances affecting the body. In the 60s an adult female from Boetica was missing. When searchers found her she was deceased and there was no skin on the body. DNO; please don’t just take my word for it. Please DNO,put one of your special investigators on these cases. I am sure that there are many persons old enough to remember this, because when the body of this female was in the Princess Margaret Hospital hundreds of persons rushed to the hospital (or the mortuary) to see the body. There are at least two (2)Dominica doctors still alive who can speak to the fact that there was no skin on the body of this deceased female. One of the doctors, still alive, was a pathologist. In this day and age of scientific enlightment, I think it is incumbent on DNO to, at least get the facts on this present NO BONES case by getting the findings of the Inquest and question older persons who saw this SKINLESS body and make a try of talking with any doctors who were working at the PMH in the 1960s. DNO would be doing a great service to our present society to, at least, get the facts on these two ‘mysterious circumstances’ cases.

Do you know the words of this song? This is the chorus:

Blest be the Lord, Blest be the Lord
The God of mercy, the God who saves
I shall not fear the dark of night
Nor the arrow that flies by day.

Almighhty Father, we beg you in these times of increased rejection of your love and mercy, godlessness and wicked deeds, please help our country Dominica and keep Dominicans safe from those evil people who permeate our land. Tie their hands that they cannot do any harm (more) to our fellow people.
We pray and ask this in Our Lord Jesus Christ’s Holy Name through His Most Precious Blood. Amen!

A Hymn and a beautiful one, based on Psalm 91. Whenever this hymn is sung in Church on occasion at the recessional after Holy Mass is celebrated, when the priest and acolytes leave the Altar and are going down the aisle, I sing it to my heart’s content. So do the other parishioners who attended that Mass.

When I see comments with people laughing about something like this, it really brings home the reality that my dear country and its younger generation has changed drastically. You guys are laughing as the country goes further and further down the tubes as if it has absolutely no effect on you all! Well, well!! Ask yourself how far away from you are these people who are perpetrating these crimes. Ask yourself whether they may be sitting next to you on the bus or standing next to you in the bank. For your sakes Dominicans, WAKE UP AND FIX YOUR COUNTRY! STAND UP FOR HER!!! DEMAND THAT THINGS CHANGE………My goodness, this is just so hard to swallow……

When you comment and say “people” and “you guys” be careful! You are generalizing, putting everyone in the same situation/boat. It is a mistake, too often that some people make. If you read all the comments, you should know that they are not one and the same. The comments are not identical.
I do not appreciate people making jokes about this situation. It is a serious matter which entails human flesh.
Right now someone is missing. The family does not know where their loved one is and what happened to the person. They are grieving. It is not a laughing matter. Some people lack sensitivity.

  6. CANT BELIEVE IT!
    June 28, 2013

Seriously DNO, you need to do better reporting than that. You need to provide more details that make sense. What part of the body was the flesh? Was it a small amount? Give the length/measurements. The fact that it is being named John Doe gives the impression that its a considerable amount of flesh. And unless its a whale no large amount of human flesh can be found without bones. I could be proven wrong but I just don’t see that happening. :?:  :!:

Admin: We’re glad that you seem to be getting your news only from DNO but this information is contained in the official report that the police gave to ALL media houses.

    • Justice and Truth
      June 29, 2013

Can’t believe what? Do you have any common sense? DNO can only report what was informed by the police authorities and what they want revealed at this time as they conduct investigations in this matter. You can put two and two together and form your own opinion.

      June 29, 2013

This is surprising and interesting to know.
Never heard of it and never considered it a possibility. It depends if the body was in the water for an extended period of many months to a year or more. Surely, not one or two weeks. I still feel, how could this happen.

    June 28, 2013

Seriously? DA? come on, we can solve this issue. Everyone knows everyone in that area. Unless the flesh came from a stranger brought to the island, let’s find out who is missing. Who died recently and what was the cause of death? If no one is missing, let’s look at who is injured or missing flesh. Are they being treated by relatives and remain inside so others won’t know? Soukouyant or no soukouyant there may be individuals who use human bones for their Satanic rituals. Be vigilant Dominicans and watch your neighbors. The island is under attack by the Devil. Evil abounds and we must pray.

It is the flesh with no bones. The person is dead. In other words flesh without bones, bones without flesh; the person is dead. This is gruesome. I never heard that this could happen. It appears to be a careful dissection.
God knows who this flesh belongs to. If a satanic ritual was committed, God knows who committed it.
If per chance this was committed by a human being or a few, they cannot hide and runaway from God. He knows who you are. Your punishment and an eternal one are imminent. Cease your wickedness and submit to God. Otherwise, Hell is your lot! I state this in the Holy Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Flesh with no bones–news article

This could not have been placed, where it was discovered, for a very long time. Because it would have already been decayed, even to the point of not being visible.

Besides, bones are what gives the body its framework. Even if someone boned the body of that person–that person would have to be extremely weighty to find enough flesh to put in hiding, many people–especially the men are of skin snd bones in most part of their body.

Let us hope that forensic research can discover something to shed light of that matter.

Would it be the Boetica man who disappeared recently? Flesh and no bones? This is unusual. An ungodly ritual may have taken place. The person was dissected. What happened to the bones? Oh my! How sad and upsetting too. What is more the person must have suffered at the hands of the person who did this.
Lord! Please help Dominica and eradicate such types of evil and evil people from it.
    Fellow Dominicans pray, pray, pray!

You have reason to be suspicious as I did. Decomposed bodies are found with only bones. First the flesh is decomposed. Bones are hard; not decomposed. Bones remain for a very long time, if not forever. This is what makes this a strange and suspicious case. Very fishy indeed!

The body parts were separated, this occurred recently since there is still identifiable flesh and the weather is hot and humid, perfect conditions for decomposition. The murderer is someone from the area or someone from the area knows the murderer because I’m from LA and I doh know that place. Lastly check the group of people that frequented there recently. I think you need to explain yourself clearly because there is no way human bones can decomposed before the flesh. This situation is very strange and in fact scary. If flesh was found, the bones must have been taken to another place or the flesh was brought there from another place.

        1. Nowhere in the article did DNO say anything about decomposition.
        2. The remains could have been placed there the same day.
        3. We don’t know the condition of anything. Nowhere in this article did they mention how long those remains were there for you to even want to talk about flesh decomposing before bones.
        4. Have you considered that this could only be a dump site and the bones were probably dumped elsewhere or maybe where a crime occur if it did.
        5. Don’t jump to conclusions about anything. Don’t be too narrow minded.
        6. Remind me when I visit Dominica to make preparations so that if I happen to get sick I will not have some other means of receiving medical attention which does not involve you and medical students or doctors who think like you.

They found a piece of flesh large enough to be identified as being from someone’s body. Just because they say ‘remains’ doesn’t mean the rest has decayed, the bones could be elsewhere undiscovered. Maybe the body was bloated and exploded discarding a large piece of belly flesh with the belly button still attached. (boy, allyou making me go into some serious speculative detail). Anyway, why are they calling the body John Doe? such a lack of imagination – they should come up with their own Dominican name for unknown deceased. eg Pappa Met.

That could never be Flesh with no bones. Impossible. Flesh always decay and bones rot but can stay a long time, unless this is some kind a ritual which just took place.

not sure why you’d want a missing person to be found dead.
