When will the Dominica government get it? the developed countries are legalizing it and making billions of dollars in taxes and our young men/women are being made criminals. when Dominica should be a front runner in the Caribbean to begin growing it legally……..the rich countries destroyed our banana industry so this is a way to make up what we used to have back in those days with our bananas.

Ghetto youths must survive by any means necessary. Every body can’t be a priest, or work at an office, or be a bank accountant, or parking the supermarket shelve. Life’s weird. Just open your hands mr jacket and tie and Mrs. Stiletto, all the fingers on your hands aren’t the same length, so the world that we live in is made up of all types of ppl with different personalities. STOP OPPRESS GHETTO YOUTHS. I will die being their advocate rather than to associate my self with you the oppressors!!!! Jah Rastafari

I agree – I think certain things are much more important/significant than marijuana growing and use. The movement toward decriminalization of marijuana world wide is only proving ignorance and lack of independent thinking and action by the Governments of third world countries like Dominica. Why should we as a country in a region known for the high usage of marijuana not use this as an opportunity to utilize and make the most of experience use and growing. The Caribbean provides the best tropical conditions for growing such plants and we are creative enough to make innovative ways to use, growth, research and utilization for more than just for the medicinal use and values but for oil, clothes and whatever else beneficial to us as a people and a nation. Why do we continue to be puppets to 1st world countries who still have high poverty rates, high crimes rates, lack of moral values, high rates of diseases and so much more. Why cant we try to create our own culture of health and happiness

They must know about the people. If they are not caught they cannot arrest them. Their day will come. At least they got some illegal drugs and burnt them. Under the circumstances this is all they can do for now. It was a successful drug raid.

Our weak black leaders are still waiting for their slave masters to give them the command to decriminalize a natural plant, while the usa makes billions $$$. Nothing to be proud of if you ask me…

A grown police once told me marijuana does make people sick and do evil things. In this day and age i couldnt believe that this grown man a public servant was so absolutely dumb and brainwashed. I asked him if he drank alcohol, he said well alcohol is legal then he showed be a bottle in his desk. Sins and crimes. Marijuana was and has never been a sin. only a crime because that is how they want it. ask them why and wait for the nonsensical answer. especially from “educated” men like the attorney general.

What makes you think you will not be detected.
And risk setting a fire indoors? The police will still catch you.

If the seeds and plants were destroyed why keep referring to them as “alleged”. That term infers that the police are not certain that they are real, which I am sure that is no the case and the use of “alleged in this case” would be a nonsense.

    • kkkkkkkk
      March 14, 2016

“alleged” is a cover up to keep it for themselves. as kids we played cops n robbers…..now police are both cops n robbers.
