Excellent police work. This is a huge seizure. I wonder where much of this was headed to. There are some people who are very disappointed at their loss.

Sounds like a possible set up to me. When you ask the questions: how does that amount of coke finds its way up to Stock Farms in the first place? How is it that the police knew about it?

the coke will disappear. just like the motor cycle and other court evidence. they will throw it away in the garbage and get a promotion. trust me.

When they finish they will say Police harassing them and run to Josh to defend them.

  7. December 31, 2015

that is less cocaine poison off the streets, but if the police were also efficient in other areas i would grade and rate them to be excellent it begs the question why are they so efficient when it comes to the drugs ?

Everything in Dominica is soo tied to politics, it’s unbelievable but true. There are many persons who have worked hard to amass wealth. There are even more who have done so through illegal means. Everybody has needs and they try to satisfy those needs. So tell me if you go to school and you see so much dunce cats that you used to do their homework for them amassing wealth and they didnt work legally for it, then wouldn’t you be tempted to take that illegal route to get your wealth? And those same people so chummy with the politicians, policemen and even the men of the cloth? The young people are not blind. So much people with degrees and there are no jobs, it’s almost risky gettting education in Dominica. We are in a state where you literally cannot separate the sheep from the goats. So it’s true it boils down to politics. The PM has to take hids blame and all the people that keep puttting him there. You cannot do the same thing and get a different outcome, Toneh. Elah Boy DA…

Guess they can only find tangible evidence!

:-? :-? :-? When it’ s mentioned that people are assisting the police, it simply means that they are questioning suspects before making any formal charges. The 2 people are suspects.

It’s either cocaine or it’s not. To have a market/street value surely the police have to know what they seized. Everything in Dominica is ALLEGED even when presented as factual. Pelham et al quit abusing this word. Enough with the malapropism!!!! If you’re unclear then the substance is question can be labeled as SUSPICIOUS however it can’t be alleged..Where is the allegation. Did your men not seize the substance and declared it as cocaine with an attached street value? sakway gas

Bravo Drug Squad! Very well done..

Even with all your problems you guys are still persevering and trying to bring criminals to justice. All you need is better leadership and equipment. Sadly though, this case has little chance of calling. If it does, that will take 5 years at best and the evidence and case-file will disappear by them. Like someone said earlier, there is a BIG-MAN behind that large amount of drugs. Sadly again, it is “alleged” that all the current BIG TIME Drug Dealers are well protected while the rest of us continue to SOUSAY SEL. May god help us all.

What should be done? you ask. Well, nipping the problem at the bud is a good idea and starting at the top is an even better one.

Why do you need to say that two individuals from Stock Farm are assisting with the investigation? why? why? for what purpose is the reporter trying to expose those people? that portion of information is not relevant to anyone reading this. This type of news is not gossip, its very serious, so take it seriously and consider all factors before reporting things tot eh general public.

Another example of the excellent work being done by the Commonwealth of Dominica Drug Squad in their war against drugs. No police force this size is contributing more to the battle against this destructive evil than the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force.

When a shipment of cocaine this size shows up in Dominica obviously it is going someplace. When the police take it out of circulation not only will it not hurt Dominican young people. This is stuff that will not reach Canadian streets.

Cocaine is not only a “recreational” drug. It alters the personality and the character. Once successful business men have been destroyed by cocaine. Some have turned to a life of crime after they began to use.

Marijuana is a gateway drug. It is the first mind altering drug most people experiment with before starting on cocaine or heroine. It leads many to heavy addiction and misery. It is part of the drug trade.

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist. (Diploma in Drug Studies)

Do you know anyone who has used cocaine? Do you know anyone who is currently using marijuana? In my high school days i had friends that used Cocaine, Heroine & Marijuana. Heroine users do not want any other drug but heroine, cocaine users only want cocaine because that is the high they seek. Both of those drugs makes the user paranoid, desperate and do almost if not anything to get high. they are highly addictive and you cannot by any means trust anyone who uses cocaine or heroine.
Marijuana cannot and should not be categorized in the same group as heroine or cocaine. Marijuana is not addictive, not one person in the history of mankind has died from a marijuana overdose, marijuana has many uses as an herb and medicine. Cigarettes and alcohol are both addictive and generally speaking cocaine and heroine users start with cigarettes and alcohol. also Marijuana was made illegal primarily for racist reasons in western countries, do your research.

Anyone, knows who use to inform the bandits?
Inside reports use to claim that the drug squad low rankers did not even know for hrs where the bust was to take place. Sometimes they would be told when they were in close proximity to avoid sell outs and boy! were there sell outs

Its certainly not as bad as when the Europeans brought war with each other and the Islands inhabitants, mass murder of the Arawak & Carib Indians, Enslavement and oppression of all black individuals and land theft and exploitation of of the entire region. We have certainly come a long way from that bloody & wicked history. Ironically the crimes that are occurring come directly from the very same source which brought bloodshed to the Caribbean in the past indirectly via movies, television, video games, economic enslavement, trade limitations, high inflation and cultural exploitation. sounds like its been said before… its absolutely true.

      “Dominica is literally in ruins.”

“So its Christmas and what have you done?”

If Donald Trump gave a $%@ #%% about Dominica I would expect him to be Dominica’s biggest benefactor.

I have not made a comparative study of the stats but it seems to me the USA is just as bedeviled as Dominica.

They are over 10 trillion dollars in debt.

They admit they are losing the war on drugs.

They have a president who has recently legalized same sex “marriage” nation wide.

Racism is casting its shadow over the nation with white police shooting black people and black people rioting in the city streets.

School shootings are becoming regular occurrences.

America’s defiance of Divine law and gross immorality has caused Islamic nations to label it “the great Satan”. Whatever any other nation has done or is doing it has not earned it that kind of recognition :!:

What all the nations need need is to declare a national repentance and turn to God.

      Sincerely, Rev…

Can you tell us ‘ANONY’ why his wife chose to have both her children in the US instead of Dominica? Ok…….maybe its because they are thinking of future opportunities which the children may have available to them if the are US citizens by birth!! But why is his wife still in the US? Were there complications with the child’s health after birth or does she just prefer to be in NYC rather than in Vielle Case??? If that is the case then maybe the PM should move to NYC instead of using meetings or whatever else as convenient means by which to travel to NYC to visit at the expense of the citizens!! The PM’s wife should be back home in Dominica by now relaxing in the sun if she really loves the country which her husband ‘leads’!!!! Otherwise move out!!!!
