Prison officer, Rodman Moses Lewis, of 35 Solomon Lane Goodwill, has been formally changed with the murder of his girlfriend, Triscia Riviere, on November 3rd 2015.
He appeared before Chief Magistrate, Candia Carette George, and the charge was read to him.
He was not required to plea since the matter is an indictable offense.
Lewis was remanded in custody.
He is represented by lawyer Anthony Commodore.
Disclosure is set for January 31, 2016 and preliminary inquiry is set for March 18, 2016.
The police reported that they responded to a report of domestic dispute about 4.50 pm on November 3 in the community in the community of Stockfarm.
Upon arrival, Riviere was met bleeding from serious injuries.
“She was taken to the accident and Emergency of the Princess Margaret Hospital where she was examined by a medical doctor and officially pronounced dead,” Police PRO, Sergeant Pelham Jno Baptiste reported.
It is reported that Lewis has been with his girlfriend for over six years and the couple has a young child.
