Shane Degallerie has been granted bail after being indicted for the 2010 killing of 19-year-old Justin Joseph of Fond Cole.
The High Court ordered bail of $30,000 for Degallerie Tuesday following the end of the preliminary inquiry into the case.
Degallerie must report to the Pointe Michel Police Station three times weekly, he should not communicate with witnesses and must remain home from 7 p.m. to 6: 30 a.m., the court has ordered. Degallarie’s passport has also been confiscated on grounds that he could pose a flight risk.
Degallerie’s case is to surface again in court during the September 2011 criminal assizes in the High Court.
