Stabbing at San Sauveur fish night

Two Petite Soufriere residents were left nursing wounds, after a stabbing incident at a fish night at San Sauveur on Saturday night.

The two, a man and a teenager, sustained the stab wounds during an alleged fight between them and three other individuals reported to be from Castle Bruce.

Reports indicate that 17-year-old Omar Marlin and Jason Simon – 27, were stabbed in the  back and chest.

The men were taken to the Castle Bruce Health Centre and subsequently to the Princess Margaret Hospital for medical attention.

Three Castle Bruce men were being sought by the police in connection with the incident, said to have occurred because of an ongoing rift between the young men.

Which one of them started this or how many of them? There are some people who love trouble and love to make trouble. It seems as though it is their lifestyle. Even though they have a rift, do the perpetrators have to settle it with a weapon and harm the others? One way of settling it is to avoid each other and pretend that they are not present or alive.
I would also say what is wrong with them? In time, they will be caught and it will be a criminal record for them and eventual jail time. People must think twice before they act and raise a weapon and harm others.

Unless the laws change and the justice system deals with these morons, our good times will always end in terror. These cowards always wait when people are enjoying themselves to spoil it. The same way you get a ride to go there that night you could take a bus and go there during the day and get your ass kicked like a man!!

As we are approaching the end of this world. It’s clear that the devil has entered into the hearts of men, and more and more the evidence have shown that some of our Dominican youth has demonstrates that there is no fear in them when it comes to break the law. There are several criteria to this theory (i) the court system fails the citizens of Dominica. When the court had the opportunity to send a clear message to those perpetrator who violates the law. There were no consequency to their action. what the court did no take into consideration that they were sending a wrong message to those that were behind. However, there is still more time left to stop that kind of behavior that our youth are exhibiting. (2) We must take into account the mental states of our youth mind, and ask ourself what causes them to act the way they do? (3) can we the citizen of our society work close with law enforcement to prevent certain kind of individual behave in a manner that is no conducive to society and say nothing. There is a old saying you see something say something. (4) our court system must act now to send a clear message that certain kind of criminal activity will not go without full extend of the law. We must all be proactive if we are going to have a safe and secure environment for all citizens and non-citizens.

jsmfh every where you look and more often than not we are plaque with incidents of violence which troubles the mind as to asking what hell is happening to the minds of some of our people only time will tell cause this trend seems to suggest we are loosing our way with violence and the questions will still hunt us and keep us asking wtfiworp.

Sometimes it’s in ‘walking away’ you sustain the stab in the back…. The object is to avoid the confrontation in the first place!
