The State has closed its case in the Kenrick Tyson murder re-trial.

Earlier on Thursday an immigration officer testified that he had received an ID card from Martin Desmond Austrie who was the police photographer and has since left the police force.

His evidence was read in court to the jury and the photos were placed into evidence and given to the jury.

The defense from 1:00 pm will put forward its case to the jury.

The trial entered its third day on Wednesday where the prosecution made certain applications before the court which was followed by the testimony of the investigating officer inspector Rommel Riviere.

Tyson is accused of murdering Cecil James between 9-10 May 2009 at Hibiscus Inn in Concord.

More details to follow.

DNO, I’m not seeing my comments for the previous posting. I do not think that what I said would have any effect on the outcome of the case. I can remember writing and said, I did not see the reason for the retrial of the case, by the squashing of the conviction against the accused by the ECSC , was putting the govt. in more debt. I think that the woman aided and abetted in the commissioner of the crime, and she should be dealt with by the law. I don’t think that she dealt the fatal blow to the deceased, I think that was the job of a man

This is basically what I wrote and I don’t see no reason for not posting it
