LOS ANGELES, California, CMC –The Grenada-born doctor facing an involuntary manslaughter charge over the death of music icon Michael Jackson could have his medical licence suspended when he appears in court on Monday.
Dr Conrad Murray, who grew up in Trinidad, faces trial in a Los Angeles court in the pop star’s death on June 25 last year.
The California medical board said it will ask the judge to order that Murray not be allowed to practice medicine as a condition of his bail.
It will be interesting to see what happens. I know MJ fans are really angry, but I’m not sure the court will be as quick to judge the doctor. I’m curious to see the new documentary, “Gone Too Soon”. It will talk about Michael’s final days. I wonder if it will mention Conrad Murray.
He will soon be Dr.Feelgood.
Elvis Presley’s doctor also lost his medical license when Elvis died. Will our doctors lose their license if any of our musical icons die tomorrow?
We will see how this whole thing pans out.
Looks like the doc will be on vacation.
