drug dealers and their families never use drugs so they dont know what take place in the brains.
scriptures says labour not for the things that perishes, but for the things that endures, and that is eternal life, drug dealears after you have messed up the country’s youth ,’what next?’

alcohol and drugs dont destroy a person’s life! there is nature vs nurture…we were not born as drug dealers/abusers and alocoholic and all the other bad characteristics. every thing is learned! we all have a choice..and too..blame the parents, guardiens and adults for not doing a good job at teaching their children the better way of life. i cant stand when people blame the drug or the gun or genetics… Hell.. Wake up and raise your damn child right and maybe u will see a better end result when they do become an adult.

If mista dem want to win all dey have to do is make the Case on grounds dat there is no arbitrary law against Cannabis Sativa as the plant is a natural occurring inhabitant of this Realm,,,

The Laws are against the Possession of Marijuana not Cannabis, there can be No arbitrary rule [Law] against a natural substance which Earth itself produces,,,

If the Authorities who claim are “Omnipotent” goes after those dudes then they should bring Earth into the Courts as it’s the Earth’s Creation and thusly was first therein its Possession,,,

      @ Rastar-Marn

You are stating that there is a difference between marijuana and cannabis. Someone who thinks he/she knows everything corrected me and stated that marijuana is the same as cannabis, to the point of disrespectfully and insultingly calling me idiot which I objected to and responded accordingly. Since you appear to be well-conversant with them, can you explain this? Refer to the preliminary reporting of the drug bust on this Website.

originally there was a very in-depth post expelling for your entertainment the difference between Cannabis Sativa and Marijuana,,, Again Rastar will try to bring the truth out but then we will see if dem Chastisers will withhold the info,,,

You are stating that there is a difference between marijuana and cannabis. According to the Ordinaries whom created the Code!!!
        http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/21/802

        USC › Title 21 › Chapter 13 › Subchapter I › Part A › § 802
        21 USC § 802 – DEFINITIONS

        (16) The term “marihuana” means all parts of the plant Cannabis sativa L., whether growing or not; the seeds thereof; the resin extracted from any part of such plant; and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such plant, its seeds or resin. Such term does not include the mature stalks of such plant, fiber produced from such stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of such plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such mature stalks (except the resin extracted therefrom), fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination.

Someone who thinks he/she knows everything corrected me and stated that marijuana is the same as cannabis, to the point of disrespectfully and insultingly calling me idiot:Here is a definition I thought you’d like from Bouvier’s Law Dictionary.

        IDIOT

IDIOT, Persons. A person who has been without understanding from his nativity, and whom the law, therefore, presumes never likely to attain any. Shelf. on Lun. 2. 2. It is an imbecility or sterility of mind, and not a perversion of the understanding. Chit. Med. Jur. 345, 327, note s; 1 Russ. on Cr. 6; Bac. Ab. h.t. A; Bro. Ab. h.t.; Co. Litt. 246, 247; 3 Mod. 44; 1 Vern. 16; 4 Rep. 126; 1 Bl. Com. 302. When a man cannot count or number twenty, nor tell his father’s or mother’s name, nor how old he is, having been frequently told of it, it is a fair presumption that, he is devoid of understanding. F. N. B. 233. Vide 1 Dow, P. C. now series, 392; S. C. 3 Bligh, R. new series, 1. Persons born deaf, dumb, and blind, are, presumed to be idiots, for the senses being the only inlets of knowledge, and these, the most important of them, being closed, all ideas and associations belonging to them are totally excluded from their minds. Co. Litt. 42 Shelf. on Lun. 3. But this is a mere presumption, which, like most others, may be rebutted; and doubtless a person born deaf, dumb, and blind, who could be taught to read and write, would not be considered an idiot. A remarkable instance of such an one may be found in the person of Laura Bridgman, who has been taught how to converse and even to write. This young woman was, in the year 1848, at school at South Boston. Vide Locke on Human Understanding, B. 2 c. 11, Sec. 12, 13; Ayliffe’s Pand. 234; 4 Com. Dig. 610; 8 Com. Dig. 644. 3. Idiots are incapable of committing crimes, or entering into contracts. They cannot of course make a will; but they may acquire property by descent. Vide, generally, 1 Dow’s Parl. Cas. new series, 392; 3 Bligh’s R. 1; 19 Ves. 286, 352, 353; Stock on the Law of Non Compotes Mentis; Bouv. Inst. Index, h.t.

Hope this brings you the explanation you seek,,,

as happy as i am that the security in dca is on an all time high. i think its about time us dominicans stop and think for a minuit..alcohol causes liver failur n messes up ur body, tobaco gives u lung cancer n messes up ur body, i have NEVER heard of someone die of marijuana intoxication yet we cut n burn one of God’s plants and call it illigal, i dont use the drug but to me this is just basic common sense logic, if u ban one why not ban the ones that acctually hurt our ppl, if one illigal ALL should be illegal, we are too small minded and dont think for ourselves. the young men who smoke and get miserable is because they are too damn lazy to get themselves a job, lets stop sidetracking ourselves plz. dominicans open uall eyes

      @ milly

The article is about illegal drugs being imported to Dominica and three being charged. You have wasted your time to address any other issue which does not concern this article. Take your other concern to the proper authorities.

Great job Officers. It is clear that the drug dealers have no heart and their aim is to destroy the youth of this country. We have to come together as a community to fight this drug problem and save our young people.

      @ Concerned Citizen

They are only concerned about the monetary value and becoming rich and living such a lifestyle. They do not care about what it does to those who ingest it and what they do to pay for it. They are evil people and must be curbed.

Great job Officers, keep it up. We need to see more like that, i am tired of seeing so many young men walking the streets destitute to this drug problem while others are living high.
