After spending one night on remand at the Stock Farm prison, Marvin Toussaint of Pointe Michel who was charged with one count of deception, is now out on bail.
Bail was open to him yesterday but because of some issues with the surety, he was not able to be bailed. He is charged with deception of $14,524, the property of Quentin Gregoire.
He also retained a new lawyer in the person of Cara Shillingford and bail was granted in the sum of EC$20,000.00 cash by chief magistrate Candia Carette George with his mother Rosemary Toussaint as surety.
The bible said “The love of money”. Not money itself.
Money can be the root of all evil. How could he have done something like that and expect to get away with it? I hope he can work or has ample money to repay the one he deceived.
