A Trafalgar woman is now on bail of $75,000 with one surety after she appeared before a Roseau magistrate on a charge of theft.
Dian Samuel-Laronde is accused of stealing $52,640.44 from Lindo Park Services in Goodwill, where she worked as an administrative assistant.
She was arrested and charged this morning (Tuesday) and taken to court where the charge was read.
The police report that the alleged theft took place between 2011 and 2013.
She is represented in the matter by lawyer Bernadette Lambert.
As part of her bail conditions she is to report to the Roseau police station every Monday and is to surrender her travel documents to the court.
The Preliminary Investigation is set for September 24, 2013.
