Trial of man who killed brother in land dispute enters second day

courtThe murder trial of Mitchel Toussaint entered its second day on Thursday.

Toussaint is charged with murdering his brother, Alexis Toussaint, of Bense in November 2011 in a land dispute.

The State led by state attorney Fernillia Felix called a number of witnesses including the wife of the deceased.

Police inspector George Theophille, a scene of crime expert who photographed the body of the deceased and the crime scene, also testified.

Cassandra Tousssaint, another witness, related to the court what happened the night of the incident.

She said it was a moon-lit night and about 2:00 am, she heard a loud noise. She said she lives about 15 feet away from where accused lives and thought he and his girlfriend were in an argument.

She said she went out and she saw the deceased on the ground with the accused standing over him. She stated that she saw the accused “make a lash” but since she was pregnant and scared, she went back to her home.

The police were eventually called.

Darius Jones and Ronald Charles are representing the accused.

The case continues in the court today (Thursday).

Imagine killing your brother and over a piece of land. This is the height of wickedness. Did he not think he would have been caught?
There is a tendency when people hear noises outside, in the night or early morning to go out and see what is occurring. They take chances and with their life.
She said she was pregnant. At that hour of the morning, when she heard the noise and since she did not know what it was, she should have immediately telephoned the police. Hopefully, the police would have arrived on time to see the brother killing his brother. Great evidence here.
Someone told me of an elderly woman who heard her dog barking in the early morning. She went outside and was shot. She should have telephoned the police. This occurred in another West Indian island, famous for murders. This is a lesson.
Where I reside, if especially I am alone indoors and I happen to hear a knock on the door, I will not open it. I will quickly telephone the police.

Here it is five years later and this murder is untried! Justice delayed is justice denied.

But the corrupt and stupid nation prosecutes and jails hungry homeless people who steal a loaf of bread in a trice. Because government gets VAT from shops. Human life, however, has no value to this government.

As a Christian Catholic, another efficacious prayer which should be said is the one to St. Michael the Archangel.

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen!

St. Michael the Archangel, Pray for us!
Guardian and Patron of the Universal Church, Pray for us!
Prince of the Heavenly Host, Pray for us!

Here is another one which you can pray as many times as you wish: Good for children.

      Daily Prayer to Guardian Angel

Angel of God, my guardian dear
To whom His Love commits me here
Ever this day/night be at my side
To light and guard, to rule and guide.
      Amen!

I was informed how the Guardian Angel prayer helped someone in danger.
