Two more suspects in kidnapping case

Police say they are hunting two suspects in the kidnapping case in which two young men of Stock Farm are still missing.

According to the police, a foreign national and a local are being pursued as suspects in the case.

Deon Hakim Alfred and Leon “Dopie” Joseph, whose whereabouts are still unknown, were allegedly kidnapped on March 10th, 2012 in Yampiece.

The Head of the Criminal Investigations Department, Superintendent Daniel Carbon, says the local suspect is from Yam piece – the other one, he says, comes from abroad although he did not specify what country that second suspect is from.

The police admit not having a clue about the whereabouts of the two missing young men Alfred and Joseph.

“We have not received any information that would lead us to locating the two young men who were kidnapped.  We are seeking information in that regard,” Carbon said.

Five individuals already been charged with “unlawfully and forcefully kidnapping”.

The five are: Jan Bedminster, Kimon Beaupierre, Dilon Alexander Desmond Phillip and Shirley Allan.

BUT I thought the police had the french people in, asked them a few questions and tell them they could go. What they expect them to do? not flee the country? they taking the locals passports and talking about flight-risk but they leaving the foreigner free and at-large to do what he please.

For the persons who do not know, if some confesses to committing a crime and then accuses other persons of being involved, that is not evidence except the police can come up with additional evidence. The evidence of an accused person against another is not going to be accepted by the court…

i wonder, can the police charge for kidnapping without the kidnapped victims…if so, they must be using the eyewitness statements as evidence..
this leads me to think that the eyewitness statement is stronger than a confession from deny shillingford.
this is amazing. what a police force we have here.

good… but the sad news is… that if the man is indeed a french citizen then he has escaped free… there’s nothing that can be done to him… france and its departments don’t extradite citizens… if the woman allegedly involved got her french citizenship already… then nothing can be done either…. if she aint, well our authorities simply have to get the french authorities to expedite her to us… in fact france and it’s departments will strip a foreign born.. french citizen of their citizenship only if they are convicted of a crime against a police officer etc…. so again if this man is indeed a french man… he has escaped… this is why it is important to not have duals in position of influence… esp a frencheeeeee :-P
